  1. Multiple reasons. When I shot limited I loaded my .40's long with a fast burning powder and the recoil was very soft . More room in the case lowers the pressure which in turn lowers recoil. I load long shooting 9 major now cause the mags feed better and I need the room for the powder

  2. I thought it was just the initial gun break in when the first round of most every mag didn't chamber 100%. The last round I racked in exposed a 1/4" or so shy of the slide to frame relationship. I gripped the slide and hit the grip to clear the round. The bullet remained in the barrel and the case ejected, (along with 7 gr of WAC)..

Crimping tha case would be nice. Along with chamber checking

  3. ... really? cat piss?

Demon Spawn was angry with my daughter so he squatted over my bucket of brass and did his business. He did the same thing with my box of 44-40 brass. I hate cats.

Sounds like the cat is ready for its last supper of rat poison
  4. Yes it is illegal! Troy covered this in the RO class I took. Can't state the rule but if he says no that means you can't since he helps write the rule book

No...just no. If this is what you took from the class you need to go back and retake it.
If a shooter's gun fires more than one round for each individual pull of the trigger the firearm is not legal in USPSA . I have seen a RO check people for this possibly happening. Your local club matches may allow you to do this but not at a major
  5. Hello: You can make a 155mm magazine hold 29 if you use the right base pad. My 140mm mags hold 25 rounds of 9mm for open. I am not using my 170mm mags as much as I used to now. Thanks, Eric

That creates a problem for me since my MBX mags have proprietary base pads
