Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. The company has good prices but I can't find out any thing about their product. They have red dot scopes and sights like the C-More. The one like the C-More has multiple reticles: 3MOA, 10MOA, Cross and Circle dot. But if they dont show up well in bright sun light they are worthless. So, has anyone used this companys product?
  2. I am not familiar with the term "gauge round" how about an update?
  3. I use an XD9 4" barrel. my load is 4.5gr of titegroup with a 115gr. MG JHP. Across the screens :1144, 1147, 1149,1150,1146 PF126 OAL 1.125 The load is fun to shoot and quite accurate. Shoot minor and have fun, better to put all the minor rounds in the center than major all over the target.
  4. Just curious, I have been reloading since the earily 70's. I have shot IHMSA, IDPA, Steel Challange, and IPSC. I just find it interesting that people want to reload such a small round so hot. I would much rather shoot 38 super, 9X21, or 9X23 than hot load the 9mm. I notice the cost of brass seems to come up alot. This also I find odd. You pay big bucks for a gun and worry what the cost of feeding it is. Like buying a $30K car and decide to worry about the gas miliage.
  5. I concur with you, I can see no reason to try and push 9mm into major when there are other calibers that are easier on the gun, brass, etc.
  6. the springfield tactical is the same idea it has a 5" barrel. same question the Sig would be easier to make it into major.
  7. Would it not be easier to push the 357 SIG into major than 9mm? looking at the reloading data it would seem to be. I have an xd9 and an xd40 and I would think think that it would only take a barrel swap in one of them. Yes or no?
  8. I have a question myself. I have been reloading since the early 70's. Why would you want to load a 9mm for major? a .40 I would think would be better, or switch the barrel to a 9x21 or 23. All the above would be safer.
