I thought they may. Just didn’t check. I like tier 1, minus their wait times haha. Took six weeks for me to get the MSP Flex mag pouch to convert my original MSP. But I do like their products

Just ordered one from them. It said 12-5 business days. I’ll let you know.

Is GX still producing holsters? I ordered one back in May and still haven’t received it yet. I tried emailing them but I got no reply. Does have any contact information for them?

I think that’s pretty typical. When I ordered the lead time was well beyond what was listed.

he doesn’t answer emails and says so on his website. You need to text him/call him. When I did that he replied very quickly. https://gxproductsusa.com/contact-gx-products/

in the end it’s worth the wait.

  3. I took my bullet feeder dropper die apart and the ball bearings disappeared into the dark abyss of my garage never to be found again.

I found a spare set of 3 with the original packaging but there are 6 holes in the bullet dropper.

Can anyone tell me which ones I’m supposed to use for 9mm?

Yes, this is definitely with the KKM.

My initial testing was 4.4, 4.6, 4.8, and 5.0g.  Per KKM's recommendations I was looking for that sweet spot of 1050-1100fps.  4.6g and 4.8g showed some definite promise and I did have earlier chrono numbers but only for the 4.8 and 5.0 loads.  The 4.8g was averaging 141PF/1138fps.

During this latest RR tests session, I tested 4.6, 4.7, & 4.8.  My results above were at 4.7g!  So again I'm guessing the chrono will result in ~137-138PF.

In all honesty, the groups I've seen at anywhere from 4.5 to 4.8g would be satisfactory for many shooters.  But I also want to see how the Zero 125s react to the KKM.  When I have time.................  😰

Definitely looking forward to your results with the Bar-Sto!  Keep me in the loop!

    :)👍

Is the 1050-1100 recommendation from KKM for 125s?

  5. Picked one up and shot it a couple times so far. Really like the weight and balance. The dot tracks really nice for me. Much better than an xl but I think that was to be expected.

Have a 320 AXG and wondering what the latest thinking is on how best to reduce the mushiness of the trigger pull. Lots of options out there - GG, Armory Craft, Apex, or send it to sig armorer. Worried less about over all trigger pull weight and more on getting a crisper trigger. Thoughts welcome.

If you don’t care about weight I’d get the tactical trigger competition setup. You’ll get a better and more crisp reset then grey guns and quite a bit less pre travel than grey guns. It uses all factory springs.

I have No idea what you are doing to turn a Legion into a $2000 pistol, unless you are including the optic which you would also have to buy for any other pitsol.

You should mention this in your original post.  You original post made it sound like it is required for the gun to be competitive which is not the case at all.

$2000 with optic. But one could spend $2k on an iron sighted one if they paid for a grip job.

I think those three things I listed are must have items for anyone who’s serious about competing. Luckily the grip job stuff can be done with a dremel and $30 of glue and silicon carbide.

if the op is casual then a stock legion will be fine. Same as a stock canik. Sig has potential to cost more long term is all I’m saying.

One would spend way more compared to what?

Imo, those things are not a MUST for the Legion X5, they are luxury items that are not required to compete.  You can compete with the Sig out of the box.  I would avoid 147gr ammo.  Sigs are accurate enough using 124 gr or 135 gr ammo.

Compared to the Canik Rival he asked about it the original post.

The mag release and grip job are non negotiables for my hands. My fingers would activate the factory mag release on the draw because of its location.

Most people aren’t content with a bone stock gun. If the op is the type that likes to add aftermarket stuff, It’s not difficult to turn a legion into a $2000 pistol. It’s just something to consider.

  9. I’m intrigued by version 2. I ended up getting rid of the align tactical thumbrest because of how far forward it sits. I found myself over reaching for it at times and breaking my grip.

  10. As someone who shoots sigs imo you’re going to spend way more on the sig to get it optimal. This might include;

    paid or diy grip job

    mag release

    Trigger

imo those are a must. Additionally you might end up with

aftermarket match barrel (factory have very loose chambers and (in)accuracy is well documented.
    tungsten guide rod

The original one I ordered was the non-competition one. I have since received the competition one and it is definitely a thicker shim than the original, maybe double. You can tell the difference.

Polishing striker (what Tactical Trigger suggests) and the sear, which is him going beyond the standard Tactical Trigger install suggestions. Then lessening the sear hook and striker engagement, but he doesn't suggest that unless you know what you're doing, polishing should give you a good result. Then he told me about the new pretravel shim, which I now have. I haven't gotten to polishing the sear on mine yet, but I've polished the striker hook and the trigger bar to sear engagement surface on the trigger bar. I will get to the sear soon once I am confident enough to completely dissemble the FCU beyond the traditional install. Still learning the P320.

I'm pretty happy with what I've been able to achieve so far with it, still think there is more that can be done.

Thanks for sharing. I ordered a kit. I’m going to try it with the grey guns shoe and sear and go back to the factory sear springs.

Got my full kit in yesterday, and installed the first time last night - first impressions - not impressed, it almost felt like stock. But I spent more time playing with it today and doing some polishing on other parts and am starting to get a pretty good result. I chatted with Mike Stoker on Instagram about how he got his tuned so well and he gave me a couple of pointers and told me that he had been testing a previously unreleased version of the pre-travel stop that was geared for competition level trigger jobs, and they just put it on the website today. So I've got that ordered and hopefully will help even more.

Is this the new pre travel stop or the old one?

The striker reset spring breaks every 1000 rounds. So I don't even know why they are even there. Worst part is, you can't even find them online without diving into it.

    1,000 rounds?

Check out " Sig Talk".  "Striker spring for the X 5 Legion". There is a difference.

    That’s where I read it.

sig doesn’t sell just a spring and my gun started light striking after less than 3k rounds. So now I have to buy an entire striker unit? Which are unobtainable….

I too never heard of using anything other than the stock striker spring;  and Robert just finished my P320 MAX.  Don't recall any optional striker springs mentioned.

If you need some stock springs:

Also check that your Striker Reset Spring is not missing and or mangled..............

    Another good vendor:

    👍

Do you know if the springs are the same for the x5 and regular p320. I read that the x5 has a different striker assembly but it wasn’t a reliable source so I’m taking it with a grain of salt.
