Not sure but think it's the sun washing things out when it's behind me. I'm going to stop worrying about it and just play the hand I've been given.

I have the Green version and under all conditions it is much easier to see/use. My distance is still 20/20 or better so target focus with the 65moa circle is a great combination.

Thanks, think I'll give it a try.

My issue is that I don't have random floaters. My floaters came down from the top of the eye like a curtain. Been thru two laser treatment's and they help but it's not like I'm 40 any more. Gota feeling I'm going to have to deal with it.

Been using a 510c in red as right now that's the only thing I can see. Problem is my floaters are all over the place. The reason I'm using the 510c is that if I can see part of the Circle/Dot I'm good to go. Just wondering if the green is better. My biggest problem is if the sun is at my back and I have to shoot a white steel popper the red gets washed out. Any help from old guys is appreciated.

I did exactly what this guy did, however I used a fine metal file. It makes a 100% difference. There's two on each side of the magazine well.
Ditto here!

Found my new PCC load. Very soft shooting with no dot movement out of my JP GMR15. Been shooting Rainer 115 Gr RN with 4.0 Gr N320 @ 1.12 aol, 138 PF.
The below load is way much better. Been looking for an N320 replacement and it seems the Sport Powder does it at about half the cost.
124 Gr. Everglade v2 JHP
3.8 Gr Sport Pistol
WSPP
1.10 aol
Hi= 1126, Low =1103
AVG = 1114.8
PF = 138

Talked to them yesterday and they are sending screws and a plate, thanks for your answer.
Admin can close this thread.

Done that, they now work fine, thanks.

Thanks, I'll do it. I had the Holosun on an M & P Core and the holes lined up perfectly they are off a slight bit on Canik's # 2 plate. Thanks again.

Just picked up a SFX and had some trouble mounting a Holosun 507. 507 is fine but had to force the screws in to mount it to their plate. Anyone else have a problem?
Also mags don't want to drop free - any ideas?

TW25b, pricey but my GMR13 never stops, has never even come close to puking on me even after a 400 round match at Havasu and Dave Lauck recommends it.

Sorry did not see the one in front of me. Admin take this off.

Is Taylor Freelance the best magwell for a GMR15? Looking for opinions?

I would give them more love if they would make a descent size dot. Look at what the open gun guys use, 6 and 8 moa C-mores, something guys like me with older eyes can see. I love my green 510 but it would be so much better with a 6 moa dot instead of the 2. It's just too small on bright summer days.
Heck I'm 74 and use the 65 MOA on everything except for tight shots and for some reason I can see the 2MOA dot at 15 yards on tight Turtle targets. I guess it's just what the old peepers can see,

Depends on your eye sight,
What looks good to me may suck for you.
If possible look through both sights and then decide for yourself.
Both sights are very popular and you should be able to check them out at any match you attend.
I have looked through them all and I cannot find anything better than the old trusted and true Cmore.
Shooters complain about the battery life of the Cmore. Change it once a month, takes about 5 minutes, if you shoot a lot.
Cost about $4 a three pack. If you can't do that once a month, your life is jammed up big time.
But that's just me.
He's right, depends on your eyes. Used an RTS2 on my PCC and Open Gun. Got a hanging floater in my right eye and had a hard time seeing the RTS 2 dot. With the Holosun if I can see half the circle I'm good to go.

Yeah, they are fine to deal with. I think mine took about 10 days or so.
I ordered mine from MVO on the 15th and it got here today the 21st. PA to AZ in 6 days via snail mail with Monday being Presidents day. Works for me.

When I see/hear of setups that sound high to I just assume they do a very different cheek weld than I do. More Jaw than cheek bone or something like that? To each, their own.
Your right, heavier stuff I use a check weld with the PCC it's more of a Jaw weld. Not sure why, just the way it is.

Those of you using the Holosun 510c, are you running the extra riser?
I'm running a 1" riser, seems to put the sight right where I need it to break the first shot quickly.

I hope you like it as much as I like mine.
This will be my 4th and yes I do like them because of eye problems. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

I don't know if it's been mentioned but you can get an HS510 for about $220 shipped here:
Just bought one. $220 out the door with shipping. Should have it in about a week. If there are problems I'll let you know.

Wow....can't imagine that thing on a pistol!
When you take off the metal shroud and the Picatinny rail mount the scope weighs about the same as the metal CMore. Go to: TevoSports.com

Been using a RTS2 w/ 8MOA. Got some floaters in my right eye so I went to the Holosun 510C in red. Now have the 510c in both pcc's and in the process of putting it on my Open gun with a Tevo mount.
