I've used HS-6 for quite awhile, shoots good but dirty. Used 10.0 gr. at 1.18 aol with 135 Rainer FP with a PF of 172.
Good luck.

Stages look good, let the games begin.

Thanks Chuck, What was nice about the HS6 was that all I had to do was change my powder measure and I was good to go in Ltd as the AOL for 180's and 135 was about .005 . Guess I will have to rethink things as I now have 24 lbs of AC. It was nice not having to change the seating die. Oh well, the older I get the more BS I have to put up with. Tanks again for your help. Are you shooting the WSSSC?

Been shooting 40 Open for about 4 years using 135 gr Rainers at 1.185aol, 10.0 grs of HS6 with a PF of 172. Guns shoots flat and I love it. Had a chance to buy some Auto Comp and I'm out of HS. Here's my problem. With 8.9 grs of AC and 135 Rainer, chronoed was: Low 1172 FPS, High was 1394 FPS. Any idea why the Extreme Spread is so large. Oh, the avg was 1273 FPS and a 172 PF. Not sure what's up.
Thanks for any help, Pete

Got an email from Cheryl 12/9/13 saying "Welcome to the 2014 WSSSC. We will be sending out further instructions so you can do self squading." I been shooting this since 2002 and this is the first time for self squading. Don't know what else to say.

I don't think they have sent out the pin numbers yet.
-
Anyone know what's happening; squads, stages etc?
-
PM me and I can give you an email address to find out. Tried to do a reply but BE's site wants good spellers.
-
Reread the email Cheryl sent out and self squadding will be from 2/5/14 to 2/15/14. They will send out more info at a later date.

Does anyone know when pin numbers will come out for self squading ?

After 2 days of shooting this has got the most well run match in the Nation. RO's are fantastic but fair. Every one is cooking. Speed taps all over, 20 yrd. tuxedo's and lighting Max traps. Accuracy counts.

Just got a Center of Mass holster for my open gun. Been using a Ghost for years and got tired of checking to make sure it was locked in. Think I don't have to check so often!! Good work from Rick.
Pete
just wondering if this holster accepts different kind of compensators
I think he custom makes each holster. I had to send him a picture of my shooter.

Any updates on how you are liking it? After talking to Brian about it in another thread, I went and ordered one last month. Should be here in a few weeks. Looking forward to it. Thanks for your post
Love it! The only time I feel awkward is when I start facing up range, think I just need to practice. Good luck and shoot straight.

How long did it take? Do you think it would be secure enough for 3 Gun?
6 to 8 weeks. Found out about it from Brian Williamson who shoots a lot of 3 gun.
Thanks for the update. I was curious about the wait also. I checked them out yesterday after I read your post. They seem pretty sweet.
Do you shoot 3 gun out at Rio?
No, I've enough trouble with 1 gun, shoot mostly Cactus and Prescott

Thanks to all the RO's who did a great job under trying circumstances and dealing with wind and dust on Saturday PM, Stage design was good except for a few things that went south at the wrong time, Squad 3 rocked as Greg took care of taking care of folks to every stage with his rig
Pete.

Just got back to AZ. Good stages and stage design. Too many movers and at my advanced age that s_uks. Only problem was the NM Red Chile and Green Chile for lunch was really great.

Looking into booking my flights. Is there a rough schedule? Should I arrive on Wed or Thursday? Is registration on Thursday or Friday before shooting?

Jammer, I was supposed to be on squadl 11 and wussed out. I'm a super senior and have been too wet and too cold too many times before. I give everyone who shot this mess a whole bunch of credit because it is so much eaiser to sit back and have a Manhatten. Kudos to the Ro's and shooters who had the b-lls to shoot and the dedicated RO's who work this whole thing.

Don't know if you folks remember but Bay 5 used to have a dock and a boat in it. They need that boat today

Here's an update Chuck. Finally settled on 8.4 gr of AC at 1.16. PF of 174. Lowest shot thru chrono was always the first shot. Wish it was like TiteGroup and not as case sensitive as it is. Think that has something to do with the ES being so wacky along with the aol.
Thanks for your help.
