  1. The USPSA Production list only has the 9mm P320 listed. Are the 357/40/45 not currently allowed? I ask because for the other P models, specific calibers are noted. I have in 9mm and 357.

  2. Laze,

Welcome! For a great range with a multitude of shooting options, you will have to drive west for a little bit. There is Topton $$$, and http://ontelaunee.org$, and some others. ontelaunee has a lot of options and they are building some pits for three-gun style shooting. It's only about an hour from philly and you'll love the low membership fee. For closer indoor shooting try Targetmaster on RT 202.

  3. Well, when you gents are ready to sell the bases that you don't like, PLEASE contact me. I will be happy to make a deal with you.

  4. Honestly, I'd take smooth and crisp over straight trigger weight reduction any day.

There isn't much to improve so I just can't see myself sending mine off to clean it up.

I agree. Its smooth when it needs to be, consistent, and as good as a production gun can be without dumping lots of cash on it to fix perceived problems that likely begin and end with the operator, not the equipment. When I video myself shooting it, the trigger movement, from shot to shot, is barely noticable, and the slide moves like a sewing machine. Little if no muzzle flip, and follow-thru is clean and stable. And that's shooting .357 Sig, my 9mm version is just silly smooth.

  5. I've been very happy with it in stock configuration. That being said, I wouldn't kick a re-spring kit that lightens the pull a pound or so. The reset is perfect, IMHO, but I guess anything can be improved.

  6. Well, I have about 500-rds of ball and frangible thru my .357 Sig P320. Shot several steel, USPSA, and IDPA style stages with it. Flawless function, as accurate and possibly faster than my .357 Sig P229 or P239 (both with SRT DA/SA). I like the magazine well very much, it seems to be faster on reloads due to the open nature up front on the well. If they ever do a flared lower grip module, I'd be all over it.

  7. All my PA products are holding up great.

Mine has been amazing! Not babied, or coddled, shot like equipment, not an investment. The gun deserves most of the credit, but the scope has unerringly guided my cheap 5.56 paper punchers to holes that overlap like a post-apocalyptic Venn diagram.

  8. In your test exercise, try this- Hold trigger to the rear and cock hammer as you did- release trigger and it won't reset. THEN- with finger still off trigger, press hammer slightly rearward, as the bolt would if you ran it fully rearward to chamber another round. If my guess is correct, as soon as you press the hammer back it will reset the trigger. This would mean the disconnector is not resetting, which is usually caused by debris in the trigger group. A thorough disassembly and cleaning will reveal if there are any burrs or garbage causing the issue. Any qualified gunsmith should be able to handle it if you are not comfortable with a full disassembly.

It happened to me again today. I ran the bolt a little too wet, and after several trap shots, it stopped resetting reliably. I am almost thinking of wrapping the trigger assembly top in press-and-seal with a slit for the hammer. I think and observed that the trigger assembly was now wet, and covered with granular crap.

  9. Has anyone been shooting a P320 is .357 Sig? I have one in 9mm with a Springer guide rod and 14lb 1911 spring. I found the 9mm in stock spring, to be a tad oversprung. I am curious if the .357 feels similar, or if the extra spring tension is appropriate with the hotter round. I shoot .357 Sig very often in P229 and P239. I just purchased a conversion to .357 Sig in the Full size.

Also, Sig is running a promotion on the Full and Compact conversion kits, 20% off. So, should be around $319.
