I traded an M&P 45 fde for a vp9. Best trade I've ever made!
-
And don't worry about people on the net claiming the gen 4's aren't reliable. Some internet rumors just won't die. Gen 4 glocks are solid.
-
I love my gen 4 g34. The grips is so much better imo vs the gen 3.
-
I really am impressed with the mec gar 17rd mags. They are tought and half the price of the factory 18rd mags.
-
I currently own an sp01 accu shadow but I've been wondering how the accu shadow lite shoots.
-
That's good to hear, I'm probably going that route also.
The factory 18rds should fit the USPSA and IDPA boxes. The Mec-gar 17rders with the Springer pads are the same length as the factory 18's. I actually just set up all my Mec-gars that way.I have the two factory 18 round mags, unmodified in any way, that came with the gun. Are the Mec Gar 17 rounders with an aftermarket base pads the preferred production legal mag? Im really liking the looks of the Springer pads, will the factory 18 rounders fit the box with those? Either way, I'm going to get the 17 round mags, but I would like to have the factory mags as some spares, set up in the same manner. What have been everyone's experiences been with that set up?
I just tested my gun in the IDPA box with the Mec-gar/Springer combo... It's a CZ 75 ACCU Shadow Lite with the adjustable Hajo sight- it fits but there is no room. These were made perfectly to just under the box dimensions!
How do you like the accu shadow lite? I've been eyeing one.

Anyone own or have shot the Sphinx 3000? How does it compare to the CZ?

I just purchased an Dawson FO fromt for my accu shadow. I'm not a big fan of the czc FO front plus it was pretty scratched and banged up. Someone got a little carried away with the file and hammer at czc when they were fitting the sight. I'm not too happy.

The Sphinx guns sure are pricey though!

I've been looking at pics of the Sphinx guns. They are beautiful. I'd love to own one.

I recently acquired an accu shadow 9. I'm loving it. You can't beat the accuracy.

Taran's basepads are the bomb!

I also use zev's ext & lightened striker. It works wonders with tough ammo. My gun has lighter springs but will still shoot anything.
-
I also have the zev tech standard trigger kit in my g17. It is pretty good. Definitely better than the stock trigger. I would recommend either ther standard or the fulcrum. Both are good depending on your desired outcome.
-
I've got the zev tech fulcrum kit in my g34. It is an awesome trigger and the internals make a huge improvement.
-
I love the TTI base pads. I use the 140mm's.
-
TTI's stippling is the best. Hey do it by hand and do it right. Love it on my g34.

Awesome deal

The only other manufacturer that offers a wide variety of FO sights is Dawson. I bought a FO sight for my CZ 75 accu shadow and SA range officer 1911. I had to file both sights down since they don't place the FO rod at the very top of the sight blade like TTI sights.
-
I would love to see TTI make FO sights for other guns as well. Such as the CZ 75, M&P and 1911's. They would sell like hot cakes.
-
I absolutely love my TTI fiber optic Glock sights. The design of he FO front is especially good.
-
I just ordered a jager ss guide rod for my gen 4. What ISMI spring weight would you recommend?
-
Thanks for the info. I've been considering running a lighter spring in my Glock 34.

I love the trigger on the vp9. One of the best stock triggers IMO.
