  1. I had the same experience shooting my first big match last year. Before that shot in one or two locals and didn't really understand scoring (sure as hell didn't (don't!) have any idea about strategy) but knew it was something fun. Fast forward to this year and I'm spending cash and signing up for any match I can manage to attend... Whew! Not easy working nights and with 3 small kiddos. But hey.... That's life

  2. Might look at original SWAT. I'd never given them much credit but got a pair last summer and they have been excellent. I've found myself wearing them pretty much every day just due to the overall comfort and lack of foot ache at the end of the day. I'll get another pair for sure.

I can't recall the exact model I got, it's side zip and in tan color. But it's their fairly basic model and with side zip. Great boot, and it caught me completely by surprise.

  3. I've gone with the Ballistic M Frames for shooting w/ ON ear pro.. Much thinner frame which after some time on the range makes me feel less like they have implanted into my skull. Used Radar Range in the past and they were great, except for the above mentioned issue. If you're wearing IN ear pro I'd say either M frame or Radar Range are good to go.

  4. I've been able to shoot a couple big matches, the indiana state match last sept and the Florida state last month. In both I shot production, M&P9 Pro. Still don't have enough for a classification yet. Reloaded very lightly for a few years on an olllld Dillon RL450 and upgraded to a 650 last year. With the new reloader I'm definitely getting more into it.

  5. Hello all!

Been searching around the forum for months, found tons of useful info. Im from Indiana, unfortunately dead in the middle of another terrible winter. I've been shooting IDPA for the last 5-6 years pretty casually however last year I dipped into USPSA and got bit by the bug, big time.
