Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I'll end up settling and experimenting and pushing the limits depending on the day year month and my state of mind. As different components come out, like bullets for self defense I'll start messing around with components and powders while at the same time running certain loads the same over and over.
  2. Lewiston I have a Minelab CTX3030. I learned a lot on YouTube watching people use my exact machine. There are forums to but I didn't get into those as much yet. Metal detectors find lead bullets to probably because of the other metals in it.
  3. Yes I have a really nice metal detector. I didn't buy it for finding brass cases but since I had it I don't lose a single piece of brass. They make hand held locaters that you use for metal detecting that are cheaper but they need to be real close to the target. They are for use to pinpoint targets and that's what they are called by name. But my detector can find brass cases with ease and it tells target depth so if there is metal 6 inches down I know its not my brass.
  4. I'm trying to make up a defense load with CFE Pistol and 115gr XTP. I shot a ten round test group Saturday and I got similar results with my SR9: ES-18 SD-5.4 Average Velocity-1287.6
