  1. What kind of round nose are we talking? All I can find is 135gn and bigger. The smaller image is 135gn on the right side and the the 125gn is the bigger image on the left when you click it. Will these 125 feed ok
  2. Thanks guys looks like I will have to wait. Didn't realise there were differences between the 125gn they all look the same lol. I'll get a 100 and see how I go from there pretty new to loading so thought I'd ask. Cheers
  3. Hi guys looking for some load data for a edge mainly max overall length usin a 125gn conical nose lead coated projectile. Also what size projectile diameter do most use.? Won't have my edge for a month or so but want some help would a .356 chamber ok or is .355 the max? Thanks
  4. Yep I ordered the bull barell one so hopefully it's ok? So do you need to mill the end just seen up a thread about chamfering the end?
  5. Hi new to Sti and looking to purchase a Dawson Precision tool less guide rod for the bull barrel. Just unsure if it is a direct fit from the recoil master or does it need to be modified? Thanks
  6. I'm using .356 size lead in my 9mm and find the dillon is not good for it they do .355 fine. Anyone know of a gauge that can do .356 dia progies in 9mm? Thanks
  7. Hey guys, One of the guys I shoot with is having a few feed problems with his sti. He's using a 9mm 100gr semi wadcutter with 2.8gr of trail boss powder and has a oal of 1.055. Was over today and have changed the oal to 1.095 to see if it makes any difference. Along with this he has some mags that are 9mm and some that are for a 38 he was told they would work fine. Most failures are with the 38 mags but it's happened to the 9mm the last few weeks to see if it was the 38 mags. These are just light loads but accuracy is good just the feed problem. I'm not an sti man so not sure but said I'd ask on here. One thing I noticed was with the 38 magazines when you load 10 and just push the first round forward the next few move forward underneath but the 9mm mag is fine and the springs are stronger in the 9mm mags. It's normaly diving on the 2nd round, he can shoot 6mags and it does it at least once out of the 6 the rest feed fine. Any help appreciated Dave
  8. Thanks beer baron will check them out
  9. It's the competition hammer so should fit wth the LPA sight, all models sent here to Aus have the long barrel. Wind age if I adjust my body I will miss the target it's hard enough to see at 50yrds which is why I wanted the LPA set and forget.
  10. [quote If they swap the slide, the serial numbers won't match Realised that as I posted not sure what they will do hope they have a proper one in stock or I'll be asking for my money back!,
  11. Doesn't look like tha accu this is the pic he sent and couldn't see it
  12. So talking with my dealer he's going to see if they can replace it for the proper model. If the difference is just the sight and they have a slide with the LPA cut on it will that change the accuracy of the gun swapping slides? Thanks
  13. Well after a long wait the CZ is in the hands of the dealer, I ordered the CZ SP-01 shadow Traget with the LPA adjustable rear sight as I shoot a match called service and soon WA 1500. He sent me a pic and it's not the target it has a Hajo rear on it not sure what else is different. Bloody pain in the ass to wait so long and not get the pistol I ordered. Note this is not a fault of czc or CZ USA just the importer hopefully I can find out tomorrow what the go is as this is no good to me?
  14. ahhh, of course! I forgot the target has the slide milled to an LPA cut to give more sight options. mine is the bog standard shadow and in IPSC I cannot mill the slide to fit sights. I just have to stick with the crappy ones that keep breaking, or stick with fixed which is what I'm trying at the moment. thanks for that. Will the CZ 85 combat sight fit on a shadow it's not milled like the target?
  15. I'm in WA thanks for the load info I had worked out a 135g Lrn with 3.6 AP50n in a sti just wasn't sure on the CZ overall length had been told keep it below 1.090 so that's great thanks. I'll stick with the 135gr in copper and try it.
  16. BeerBaron if your slide is machined it will fit but not sure if the standard shadow is machined to take the adjustable? Would also like to know if it fits the target as it is machined
  17. Are you from Aus mate? If so I'm looking for a good load powder lead primer and oal if you have any idea let me know I'm the only one with a CZ in my club they all have sti I'm not popular lol
  18. I emailed Caspian and they don't sell overseas the told me Brownwells to, from what I can gather from research the lpa cut will be the same on the CZ as the 1911 but need to confirm it. Thanks
  19. Damn I've just ordered my target here in Australia and see this. How long are the sights lasting? Wonder if ccaspian arms ship overseas may need to get one as a back up it's my only pistol so spares maybe a go. Which is it the ccaspian arms LPA adjustable code S24LT? Thanks
  20. Just joined on some advise from Mark, will be getting my CZ 75 shadow target in a few weeks looking forward to extract some good info from you fellows. Cheers Dave
