Made in USA, Rock solid, light weight, and priced right. Sooooo WHAT IS IT

Does it seem as thought the 2015 Shot Show really didn't much of the new and innovative guns, and gear we come to expect

The addition of a 45 deg.front sight, and a sling attachment was the reason for asking about flex on a 15" tube. To me a Ridged tube trumps weight, but with all those slots not sure theres that much weight out front because of the handguard
-
Have you tried another brand of ammo ? PMC gold. its very soft shooting ammo, and short strokes with heavy Buffers
-
Thanks for sharing; Is there a 15" tube that's very rigid with (no Flex) Running the Key Mod,or M slots all the way down the tube must be a way of reducing weight.

AP carbon fiber handguard looks pretty nice it covers the bottom, and the M style holes along the top lets some air in. How sturdy do these feel going out to 15"., and is there's some sorta anti rotation device built into AP handguard. Also does this come with a barrel nut.

Inducing Stress to the receiver as the barrel nut heats up. Never thought of this, sooooooooo what the fix Kurtm

Thanks jkrispies; Trying to Balanced weight is one area looking hard to accomplish, overall weight being the second, and finally keeping cost down.

More control, and better Perceived felt recoil is that improved by having a balanced point of weight between the Muzzle to Butt Stock. Lets say directly in front of the receiver, or over the mag well as center, VS. a slightly muzzle heavy rifle. Watching a pro demonstrate his view of a balance rifle by extending his arm out using only the grip with very little effort, and the muzzle not dipping down was his .

Update on the Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6; Speaking with Vortex tech who has looked thru the new strike Eagle 1-6. According to him it has a wider field of view than the 1-4, but does have some distortion around the edges due to the higher magnification. He also did say that the scope does lose its day light illumination in bright sun. It will have there full life time warranty like all there scopes. I've personally have not had the opportunity to looked thru a Vortex 1-4 outside in bright sun. I'm not sure if this would be a negative aspect of buying the lower line of Vortex "?" or would you say normal.

Thanks Marko 2.5 sounds perfect.

Like to ask you which Jared trigger 2, 3 or 4 lb did you go with, and how much creep is there to the break. Also did you install the trigger yourself, and if so was there a spring tweak to play with like the Geisselie. The Jared trigger sure does seem like a lot of trigger for the money

$329.00 Seriously trying to wait. Vortex saying $425.00 MSRP

Geissele put out a older youtube video, Discussing his handguards he mentions that his barrel nut was not only designed to secures the barrel to the receiver but also fits tightly to the handguard adding the necessary support needed for sights and other accessories. He also stats that some handguards out there do not deal with issue. Seems that if your after a good 15" handguard. there's 2 issue a quality barrel nut, and overall weight
