  1. Joe Nixion has custom built Carver Glock he uses. He shoots for Bobby Carver Joe has a Youtube video where he states that he prefers the Zev trigger pad on his gun so he had Bobby Carver build his TRIGGER using one. Sounds like Bobby Carver either used a Zev Trigger Pad only, or complete trigger bar that was tuned by Carver on Joe Nixion gun

Mntbighker; There was some miscommunication seeing DK sent you a separate Zev trigger with his? This Does Happen

  2. mntbighker; I'd give Zev a call explain what happened they may be willing to give you a exchange for something else you can use magwell, mag release, heavey guide rod, exc.. Then give Carver a call I have heard that they will install a a Zev trigger pad on there trigger bar by request.

  3. Understand NOT changing the height it has to be there. For me Its more about eliminating any extra surface area that's not necessary and really creating friction or drag . I look at the contact between fin, and the firing pin plunger should be more like 2 ball bearing shaped surfaces running over one another than how it is from the factory. YES this is minor, but it all adds up in the pull weight a trigger feel

  4. Thanks Big Boss for attempting to get to truth of what some are calling a TUNED TRIGGER. When I had the chance to speak with Charlie Vanick over the phone and asked about his Super Trigger. One of the comments he made concerning his trigger job was the firing pin plunger (YES a nice shiny button ). To me that means more of a high polished radius witch would delay the safety engagement as your pulling the trigger back. One other thing that's been on my to do list is DKs - Fin Mod on the trigger bar (See his web page for Pic's) I do believe it will also help delay the safety plunger from depressing as quickly . Doing both these mods together makes sense to me. Sorry for hijacking the OP thread

  5. All industries try to cut cost to bring use to them. Funny how we (find out latter) what we thought was made by a particular company was only partially assembled or only packaged there  " Its a good thing to start asking now ". Were ALL trying to get the BIGGEST BANG for our buck aren't we ?. 3 Gun is part of the shooting sport world, we can encourge business that manufacture Shotguns, Rifles, handguns, and Scopes to take notice, and get on board with communication when we buy from them

  6. You'd be amazed how much smoother a stock trigger group is; (IF) you wet sand and polish all the rough machining marks on the striker, and round and polish the safeties (GO SLOW) M4 forum has a how to post on the subject lots of pic's. Add a set of Wolf Comp Trigger Spring, and go shoot. It doesn't cost much, and It even be production legal. Think Zev trigger pad there the originals good people too, I installed my own pre-travel screw in the stock trigger pad with all the above.

  7. I've used EEZOX on the outer gun surface for years mainly because of those steel plate test that compare different brands of oils against rust. It is one of the better RUST inhibitors. It is interesting the differences in oils, and greases that have specific qualities values such as friction, rust, and temperature. Would anyone know of a compile list of Data listing "all" these qualities so we can compare .
