Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I have used on for about a year. I notice that my hand stays higher one the gun and is in the same position on every draw.
  2. I went and looked. It will come off with an allen wrench. There is a retention screw at the trigger guard that will squeeze the sides in and hold the gun. Maybe tight enough.
  3. The hood holds the gun in. You push down on the inboard side and it falls forward. Without the hood the gun would probably fall out while you are running.
  4. The quick release buckle. The picture shows a taser with spare cartridges. It is a modular setup. You can hang whatever you want on it. If I remember right, it is a straight pull holster, no special manipulation once the hood is forward. Check the holster guide and make sure they make it for your chosen weapon. Nothing else I can think of. Is the cost a lot more?
  5. The shield thingy. You'll probably want to get rid of it. Gets caught on slings and stuff.
  6. Model 6294. It has a hood instead of a strap. Very fast with limited practice.
  7. Stong hand. Under stress you will fall back to what is the most familiar. Even if you practice both, under the minor stress of a match your subconcious knows what it likes. Just pick one. The only exception could be loading with an open bolt.
