  1. I do like the ease of adjustment with the safari it looks quick and simple the boss looks like it could dig into your thigh with the flat side on kneeling stages plus you have to take it apart to raise and lower it. what holster are you using with the safariland rig? And do you have any pics I can see?
  2. Yes that's a good poll I always enjoy seeing the good and bad I'm a fikel person like that very lots of interesting information I see!
  3. Thanks I didn't know you could do that I screwed it all up! Lol
  4. Yes this is what I was afraid of really makes it a tough decision the safari seems to be far more superior technically and for a open or limited rig later on a quick change so I'm on the fence I mite just go with the boss to make it simple now to adapt to my bladetech and like someone else suggested if I want to change post it on the classifieds. Thanks I appreciated your response very helpful!
  5. Makes perfect sense I think this made the most sense and gives valid points thanks a lot! For your non biased opinion! Have a great day!
  6. Chutist that was a huge help definitely makes sense thanks for your help I do believe that going with the boss should be fine I really like the safariland but the lack of universal adapter plates to bladetech makes sense and I can see wear both of these are very close competition based on what I take from everyone and what I've researched the safari has a lot more adjustable functions and that's nice but lacks the ability to adapt to multiple holsters the boss is very universal and has good adjustment. I feel if I buy the safari I could end up needing a new holster or fabrication to use with my blade tech I do believe the safari is a better product but not nessary for me at this point in my shooting career as much as I want the safari it's just to risky to take a shot on to buy! Thanks to all who posted it's been a great help!
  7. I'm a bigger gentleman so I've got some wiggle room my bladetech is right into my muffin tops and I seen Rob L at nationals last year his looks pretty comfy both rigs push out and and I can rotate each of them slightly I just want to get some opinions on these rigs.
  8. Yes I'm sorry I was typing and doing other things so my question came off kinda awkward. But I'm trying to decide between safariland uspsa rig or the Boss rig that attaches to your holster to make the necessary adjustments to make comfortable and fast draws. Dr. Mitch hopefully that makes sense. Aircooled I kinda felt the same way so have you made a adapter plate for the uspsa rig? I was curious since I currently run a bladetech obviously it will bolt up to a boss rig but not a safari rig. Thanks
  9. Damn auto correct safariland!! Please don't crucify me grammar nazis.
  10. Can anyone tell me from experience which is a better set up for single stack? I like how versitile both are the price is about the same adjustments on the safari rig seem to be much more simple but the boss seems to be more universal...please help!!
