  1. The second procedural I got was given under 10.2.4 The explanation was that the stage procedure state engage with only two rounds then a mandatory reload. So I got on for an extra shot on virginia count and one for reloading at the wrong time. Also of note the CRO of the stage is a well known one who works lots of matches here and abroad. MD's a few of them as well.

He said, you had an extra shot in T-1, then you reloaded out of sequence, then you engage  T-2 and T-3 with 2 rounds each, out of sequence.

I’m pretty sure it’s better to shoot a make up in that situation, Virginia count and the complete miss. I was going to get the other RO until he put the pen down and said “its not going make a difference, you’re going to ZERO the stage anyway”.  I don’t care if I missed 6 of the 7 shots, I want the score is shot not it’s a zero anyway.

That’s when I decided to just walk off..

      It’s another lesson learned.

    Thanks for all the replies

Yea. I did the same thing and he said the same exact zero sentence to me. Well. 3 on the first, made up a ND, reload then 2 and 2. One penalty extra shot. One penalty for not following stage procedure. 6A 1NS 2P for a zero. If I had taken the Mike and NS I would've had 4 points and if it was only one P then I would've gotten 7 stage points. I was only 2 points behind the competitor who finished ahead of me!

The 2016 CO Nationals counted for a classifier but there was only 76 of us who shot it and almost no one was classified. In 17 there were 72 shooters (no GM). This year there were 85 and only two GM....

My mistake. I wasn't away that match actually counted especially so with the hurricane going on.

Im new to this whole thing so just so I understand....if you go to nationals with a U. You will go home with a U? Correct?

Specifically CO. There hasn't been a match that fulfills the requirements for classification or match bump yet. It's completely automated now.

No leading problems with any of the good quality coated through either the SV TiN or DLC coated barrels that I’ve tested. Including Acme, Blue, Bayou, Ibejiheads.

Yea. I've never had an issue either. Just told him to keep an eye out since he is worried about it.

  6. In my experience jacketed and coated are fine. The plated stuff will sometimes throw fliers. Had good luck with the heavy plated stuff from berry's before. I'd say buy a case check accuracy while keeping an eye out for leading.

Not sure if you're ordering for a team/department or other.

I needed to wrap my head around 1M (1,000,000) per year and this is what i came up with-

    • >2,700 rounds per day, each and every day of the year

Now that's some dedication and a serious callous on your booger picker

You really should see it but when he is actually training normally.

... In CO, there will be four match bumps to GM after nationals, for Hwansik, Phil, Mason, and Shane (one notoriously underclassed shooter and three super squad GMs in other divisions, two of which are unclassified).

Yea... That's not going to happen. There were only two GM shooters. One won the division and the other shot in the 70's does not count for classification so no match bump.

I don't think there is any optic that gets the dot lower to the slide than a Slide Ride mounted horizontally. Not pretty, but very functional. Cures all 9mm ejection issues as well.

A 45 degree mount gets it a tad lower but that opens up a whole other bucket of worms.
