Alright. Thank you very much nealio.

Oh, it still functions. Its just all chopped and filed to try to get it in my limited. An experiment that pretty much destroyed it. Its pretty unsightly at the least.

Im kinda befuddled here because the k9 mag it fits on is from a a newer elite matches mag that came with the gun. Are you saying that mag is a small frame mag. I didnt think small frame mag fit in large frame or is that where I'm confused?
-
I've always heard there is no large framed stock 3's in America. Unless you smuggled it in somehow. It sure seems like these are legit to me. Can someone just say that the thought that there aren't any is a myth with no basis whatsoever. Or did it have basis that just changed, because they are now shipping them to us here in the US.

Anyone on here have a regular plastic baseplate for a k9 mag that they dont use. I destroyed one and need another. Or if you wanna point me in The direction of where i can buy them I'll take that also. Thanks guys.

So i have a k10 mag. I bought some used mags with the tanfoglio alum base plates. Well those aluminum base plates do not line up with plastic piece that holds the bottom of the spring. The issue is that little round dimple sticking out of that plastics piece doesnt go in the hole in the aluminum base plate. Im i just stupid or somethin? I've tried and tried but there's no lining it up. This just seems odd to me as its a tanfoglio base plate that works with the k40 and the k9 mags but not the k10.

My first guess is that his has a conversion slide on it. The limited conversion kits I bought for my limited dont have those markings.

Hammer follow is when the hammer does not engage the sear at the fully cocked position, therefore causing the hammer to fall to the half cocked position. You will most likely be able to pull the hammer back to the fully cocked position and it will stay, by manually moving it or racking the slide. But the violence of a fired round and the slide moving rearward and back again to the charged position rapidly, causes the hammer to follow the slide back to the half cocked position.
This issue is normally due to the sear being worn . There is a little way to test this. Its discussed on the forum. But since you dont have the gun in your possession its going to be hard to try.
