Pros and Cons of opening a Shooting Range

Outdoor. What I have in mind is, 8 to 10 pistol bays, a 500 to 1000 yard rifle range (whatever we could fit in) and an area for people to shoot skeet. We have 10ish acres we could devote to the cause. -
My family and I have an area that would be ideal for a shooting range. I wont to hear from some of you that Own / Operate a private range.Whats the Pros and Cons of it all?

This sounds like me. I went through 5000 with No issues . I ordered another 10000 from Powder Valley, and had 5 FTF in the first 1000, out of the new shipment.
