Haven't shot USPSA, but in every rifle event that I have shot with flags, RO orders to empty the chamber, etc before you place the flag in after the stage. Similar to a pistol before you put it back in a holster. Other than the first stage the RO should have no doubt that the rifle is empty. Same as a pistol if you pulled it from a holster and already had one in the chamber at make ready wouldn't it be a DQ? Cold range rules should still apply. Sure an RO could demand that you place the flag in the chamber but not sure why. Once the flag is in, the gun is in a visibly safe condition and the bolt and firing pin are blocked from the chamber no matter if the flag protrudes in the the chamber or not. Have always thought this style flag looked like a good solution and seem to work well for the people I have seen run them, http://www.brownells.com/shooting-accessories/training-safety-gear/chamber-safety-flags/safety-device-prod56491.aspx

I run that exact "flag" in my shotgun for 3-gun, I love it.

The SBR process is easy.  Keep in mind you are pretty much married to that gun now that it is a Title 2 firearm.  Selling it to someone means they have to pay the $200 tax to Uncle Sam to buy it form you.

Just because it is a SBR does not mean you have to run a short barrel on it.  If you make a permanent change you must notify the ATF, other than that pick the barrel length that suits you.

    Short guns swing easier/faster.

The CDI factor is off the charts on SBRs.

The only downside to SBR would be if you shoot matches out of state. While I am not the most versed on the laws regarding it don't you have to file paperwork while transporting a nfa item to another state?

Isn't there a limit of 1600 fps to prevent damage to steel poppers and whatknot?

My 95-gr. production load makes right around 1500 fps out of my PCCs, and it's not a violent load to shoot.

Seems to me that any load with enough poop to operate a DI system or run a comp would well exceed the 1600 fps speed limit.

We have a club around me that wont let PCC shoot there because he doesn't know enough about it and the pressures created with a PCC

  4. I cut back on other hobbies to have more to spend on shooting. This year hasn't been that bad besides buying a few new guns. Reloading supplies were stocked up besides primers from last year, out of the 3 or 4 matches I shoot a month I usually only have to pay for 1-2 of them. I just started getting into 3 gun and bought a PCC so its time to stock up on some other reloading supplies.

Arrrgh... 13 bucks for Cmore to ship the $10 TSK....

Anyway, I went ahead and put the regular railway sight on the gun to see just how "too low" it was.... and it actually was just about perfect.  I'm just going to go try it as is, I think moving it any higher would mess up my cheek weld.

I ordered mine without the spacer and I think its perfect. I guess everyone's cheek weld is different by the regular railway works for me.
