I have 5 of them. 2 on .40 Limited guns, 1 on a EDC and 2 for my Wife's Production guns.
I thought they weren't Production legal.
OP is making a 9 Minor Open gun.

move to Florida
screw that. I'd happily put up with another month or two of cold temps rather than cockroaches, humidity and floridians.
I'm with you on that.

Here's and article that shows the difference: http://www.accurateshooter.com/technical-articles/corrosion-protection-products/

I'm in the same boat as a couple others here. I shoot both, but the fun is in USPSA. IDPA is a different game altogether. Very hard to do any comparison.

Try these guys in Casper: http://www.stuckenhoffshooterscomplex.net/calendar.html
Or these guys in Cheyenne: http://www.ottoroadshootingrange.com/calendar

MrPostman, I believe you and Sarge are on different pages. Ammo and brass are slightly different. You don't want to pick up loaded ammo and shoot it unless you know it is yours, is more what Sarge was saying.

PMAG test?
in Glock
I purchased three from Cabelas. No problems with feeding. They fall out freely. The last round feeds well. They were only $20 a piece. I have put about 200 rounds through each.
Conclusion= I will buy more.
Cabelas has not yet sold the Magpul PMags. What you bought is Pro Mag magazines. I guess I can see how you confused that with PMAG.

PMAG test?
in Glock
It's a Pro Mag. You can click on the photo and go to the next photo and it will show you the bottom of the magazine. And definitely no liner and not Magpul.

Somebody breaks the 180 by a good 45 degrees, I beg to know which bystanders would not be yelling? or heading for cover? That said, the DQ should have came very quickly from the RO, who was obviously not practicing due diligence.

8.1.3.1 SSP – 10 rounds
8.1.3.7 In SSP, ESP, CCP, and CDP, and semi-auto BUG the shooter will also start with one round in the chamber, unless the CoF description requires otherwise.
I look in the rule book. Division Capacity is 10 for SSP. Rule 8.1.3.7 the shooter will also start with one round in the chamber. It does not say you have to top the mag off. For the new Bug class it 6 total, 5 plus 1 only to start. Would not the rules say 10 plus 1 for the others to start, if it was required.
Mark
Combine this with 8.1.2.1, and hopefully you will figure it out.

8.1.2 Magazine Loading
8.1.2.1 All magazines must be loaded to division capacity at the start signal throughout the match except in the following cases:
8.1.2.2 If a magazine is used that holds less than division capacity, the shooter will load all magazines to the capacity of the lowest magazine throughout the match.
8.1.2.3 The CoF description may require reduced magazine loading.
8.1.2.4 In the Revolver division the shooter must load the revolver and all loading devices with the same number of rounds throughout the match unless the above loading exceptions apply.

PMAG test?

CDNN has factory glock mags for $19.99 all day long. Retail on Midway is $25 but they used to go on sale regularly.
Yep to 10 Round mags.

Previous posts are right on the money. We don't know enough about your gun yet. Have you gone to a different than stock anything and everything?

Not sandbagging at all. As stated, classifier and match results often do not match up. If a match happens to hit your "sweet spot" of skills and you have a good day, it works out for you. Like it obviously did. Congrats on your 2nd place finish.

If it's not factory it sure does. Here is the place to read the rules of IDPA: http://members.idpa.com/Content/Rules/x2gukat1.wyt.pdf
8.2.1.3.3 Magazine releases, slide stops, safety levers, de-cocking levers, hammers, and triggers, that are stock on one SSP legal firearm may be used on another SSP legal firearm from the same manufacturer provided they are drop in replacements. Parts in this list must come factory installed on standard production firearms. Special parts that are available installed only from a factory custom shop are not eligible in SSP.

Try the search function. There is tons of this exact information already on the site.

No one can argue that practice makes perfect however only perfect practice makes perfect.
I understand your reasoning behind this but I will have to disagree. If you don't make errors then you will not make any improvement. Make the errors then fix them.

Extended OEM Glock for me. I have tried all of them and for me the round, tear drops and large button types just get in my way.
Extended Magazine, not Extended magazine release. Having said that, Arredondo have worked well for me.

I carry an extra everything, except a spare receiver, slide and set of sights. The only part I have had break is a aftermarket trigger spring. I didn't have a spare with me and that is the day I decided to have, at minimum, one of everything in my bag. There isn't a part that takes more than a couple minutes to change out. Sure beats feeling like crap on the ride home.

Suggestions were taken from IDPA members that used the comment tool. Not bitching on the internet.
+1.
Airing of suggestions and solidifying anything must have been buried in all the bitching and complaining. The announcement of the last rule set, they also announced they would be taking member input in the fall. They took the input and listened, to at least one particular loud input. The process worked as it should have. But, there will be always those that must find fault in everything.

I'd guess sometime in June. Considering that 2014 was completed just 2 months ago, I doubt 2015 is finalized yet.

I'm a flasher. I just don't do it with a raincoat on.

I had one on a 9mm Major and it worked very very well. Had you thought about making her gun a Carry Optics instead of Open Minor?
