10mm is on the large frame is it not? I assume this is a G22 which is a short frame. You can't even run 1.200" ammo in a G22 let alone 10mm.

Extra headspace can lead to pierced primers & other issues.
-
Load the bullet longer until the head of the cartridge is even with the barrel hood and then give it a try.
Do not do this!
You wouldn't be able to load long enough to fit in a glock mag anyway if you reamed it to 10mm.

Way too far. Toss the barrel.

I emailed Matt Cheely about a month ago, and he said his wait time was around 13 months, so probably too long for the OP, but I'd contact him just to make sure things haven't changed.
I've been approx. 8 months out for a while now.

For me, the key is to get the mag to the magwell as fast as possible. Sort of like lining them up, then pausing, then seating the mag. However, its all in one motion though. Just as important is seeing the mag into the magwell. Every time I flub a reload, I can usually recognize I was not focused on the magwell.
This. Practice getting the mag to the magwell, and not into the gun. Putting it in after it gets to the magwell is the easy part.

The SPS I handled at SHOT had obvious barrel lockup issues to the point that I doubt the gun would have lasted a few thousand rounds without failing.

Funny how people (as seen in this thread) will accuse me of coming around and beating on my chest about stuff when that's exactly the opposite of what I do. I've been making those magwells for 18 months & installing them on my guns. However, I've never offered it to sale to any of my distributors, nor posted about it on Enos or anywhere else. I didn't intend to try and take Dawson's business away from them, I just wanted to make it myself for way less than the $64 I was paying. This is the first time 99.999% of people would even have known about it. If people like what I make, they'll buy it. I prefer to let the products do the talking. Seems like that's going well so far.

I hate that I thought it was a good idea to park the trailer in the backyard last fall. Now it's completely snowed in till who knows when and I can't use it to take a motorcycle trip down south.

Lots of stuff wrong for that to be happening. Find someone that knows what they're doing to have a look at it for you.
That condition will tear the barrel/slide apart in short order.

I would blue it.

Mounts are done. All pre-orders have been shipped as of this morning.
Merry Christmas!

The thin followers we use to maximize capacity will lock the gun open with a round still left in the magazine.

.100 deep from the flat top will work with a .180-190 front sight.

Brownells has springs. Try a Wolff #2 reduced power mag catch spring.

Not anytime in the near future.

Matt you are the man good sir!!!! I really appreciate you taking the time to respond with exact information. Does it need to be bent at all?The slide racker sticks out past the scope mount about .75". It's enough to get your finger on there, anything longer and it's just way too long.
It works as is, but you can bend it up a bit. Stop before it would rub on the scope.

I use them for my builds. They've always done a good job, but I do send them completely prepped for coating (media blasted, etc) so I can't comment on that aspect.
Here's one that was coated and then cut through into the stainless slide & barrel.
