Taccom is the way to go, Tim supports the game more than anyone.

Gary that shop looks very familiar. He can build some shooting rifles. I would like to have one in a AR and a Bolt.

I know that this is a old post, but I have been told that I don't post enough, this is just my opinion but I have used Tract Optics and they are a very good option for the money. No middleman can save the working class guy some funds and the glass is as good as any.

I have had the 1x6 for many years and do not feel that I have ever needed more magnification. Back when I was shooting 3 gun a lot, the ranges that I shot at were never much more than 350 yards. I have a 1x6 0n my work gun and don't need anymore there either. I have had the Razors, PST Gen 2, C-More. I had one Strike Eagle that I never mounted on a rifle, was not impressed with the SE 1x6. I do like the SE 5x25 though.

EGW made a slide racker that was aluminum and replaced the rear sight

Para's had them. Why not add a ramped barrel of your choice.
-
So called sight block is the better set up.

You can add a spot of weld to your current trigger bow, add a set screw in the frame, or cut the bow to make a tab.

As mention earlier, Green Crimson 206. Run both at the same time. My laser is set just under my red dot on the target at 18 yards. Red dot on top with the green dot just under. My tight shots and upper A zone, head shots are great with both dots on the target. To me, I feel that it draws my eye to the dot faster with both illuminated on target.

Drop a pencil , eraser first down the barrel and pull the trigger. If everything is right, the pencil will shoot out of the barrel

Springfield and have some tuning done, or call Jeff Abernathy at Tommy Guns.
-
Hyperfire and JP as a second choice

Derek built some very nice pistols. Hope you did not spend a fortune. Nice pistol. Enjoy and welcome.

I don't know why they never brought it out. I was on board/

I have had two of them. Both were very accurate and ran fine. If you get one for a decent price, the gun won't hold you back.
-
Yes it will. works fine
-
Same here. Works well. I did add a small base pads that did not change capacity on a couple of mags. Cheely is some of the best going and Matt is a great guy.

One other thing that I did not notice anyone mention was lube or how clean the pistol is. The springs will help and should get you where you need to be spring wise. Get some Brian Enos slide glide and don't be afraid to use it. Rails, barrel lugs, bushing, as well as a good liquid lube. Don't run it to dry. I use the B/E light and Advanced Weapons and Technologies lube. Do the springs and lube and you will be running fine. If that does not help, you may have another small issue.

Rich is no longer doing work the last time I talked to him.

Pistol mounted is the way to go. As you found out the laser helps a lot as well.

Satern rifle barrels make top notch barrels. They will do 7-08 Had one and it shot great
-
Heavier spring should fix the problem

In conjunction with the red dot. Red dot with the green dot directly under the red dot. Two dots on target really grabs your eye.

I use the green 206 as well, but in a different way than anyone mentioned. I have mine mounted just in front off my Holosun and I use mine in conjunction with my red dot. I have my red dot sighted at approx 18 to 20 yds. The red dot is on top and just below is the green dot. To me, it seems to draw my eye quicker on the target and I feel that it lets me be more accurate on hard targets with hard cover. Also you may pick up the green dot coming up on a close target before the rifle is even mounted, if you get used to it, that may be quicker as well for you. Just me but you also have the benefits of the hip shots, hard leans ,etc. Works for me, if anyone tries it let me know what you think.

Adding weight (Glock Frame Only, 17/34, Gen 3/4/5)
in Glock

Weight is your friend, but not to sure in a Glock. It can get tricky on reliability when to much weight is added. The frame was designed to have some flex in it. That being said, I even tried the steel frame years ago, but it was a waist of money, because it would not run at all. May have been just a bad design. We have ran the whole circle over the years in our competition guns. Weight is good and it is simple physics to minimize the movement. I have the brass magwell and a heavy guide rod. Wish there were better options.
