Refinishing a gun isn't too terribly expensive depending on the coating/finish.
-
Too bad the accu shadow is illegal in IPSC

I really like my Stock 3 but I haven't shot a Stock 2 and I know that's a bit more popular probably because it's been around longer. But I wouldn't hesitate to buy one especially at a discounted price.
-
Just my 2 cents since I own a stock 3, the rail system hangs up in some plastic/kydex holsters.

I have an xtreme 3 and I load bayou 147 fp to 1.14 and they feed and function fine
-
They are aggressive I like them

That sight is straight from the factory
-
Thank you I definitely do

When I originally opened the box and shot it it was hitting super low so I adjusted and confirmed but I'll monitor the set screw just in case
-
I did order the base pads

If the sights are the same as mine they look to be typical bomar cut adjustable sights and you should be able to find parts on brownells
-
Oh I know all about them being ammo eaters. That's after putting 400 rounds through it yesterday and I shot another 200 today.

I use 5.5 under 180 blue bullets. Makes 170pf out of a 5.4
-
I have a 5.4 sight tracker and I wouldn't hesitate to get another one even in a 5 inch. Comparing my pistol to another with a bull barrel, the sight tracker has less muzzle flip.

A quart of mobile 1 goes for around $7 and will last years. Some put in some additives but you will be much happier with the results vs any of the other lubes.

I've tried 320, 340 and titegroup. Titegroup is violent and snappy compared to the vv. The vv is softer with more consistency through the chrono and meters a lot better since it isn't a flake powder like titegroup. I also noticed that titegroup turned my hopper yellow while the 340 (been sitting in another hopper for months) has not.

No issues with speer but i have a lee fcd
-
It gums up in cold and tight fitted pistols. I use Mobile 1 5w-30. I figure millions were spent in the development for this lube and meets SAE standards. I can run the gun longer between cleanings than with froglube and it operates just fine at any temperature that you would shoot in.

I've shot 115 to 147 and I recover my sights fast with the lighter/snappier rounds. I settled on a 124 load that works awesome in my Glocks. The 115 didn't seat as well as the 124's when I loaded.

It states the special edition is blued and not nitrite
-
I use a micro dot on a 5.4. I get a better sight picture on farther and small targets because the front sight doesn't cover it completely

To get ideal accuracy out of my 2011 i load at 1.190 thats .005 off the lands.
Tanfo Elite Limited - Brass Failure/ Rupture

Could you have an out of spec chamber causing the brass to be jammed in slightly?
