After pulling my hair out and swapping tops over and over seeing what was going on.... their is a pad at the top (didn't take a pre photo) that has to be filed to fit barrel movement. Here is the area at the top after I filed for an hour until it would unlock correctly. Finished product ready to rock the 9mm 6" tomorrow

I have them all apart doing different things to them and found something. The Match had two locking lugs from memory. I found two in the Hunter, two in the Limited Pro but three in the Limited. My guess is this would add some extra strength to it coupled with the full length dust cover and cone-loc barrel making it the toughest? Hunter Limited Pro Limited

Something needs some filing I received it this morning and measured it all out. Can't really see any differences other than possibly something different with the barrel lug angle. Did any of you running the 10mm slide mod the 9mm barrel at all? The 10mm barrel had a nice opening for the stop: With the 9mm barrel in place I had to go back past the alignment marks to get a nice path for inserting the stop. Also the guide rod is tighter to the bottom hitting on the frame some (real PITA). With it assembled I get this:

Picked it up this evening! Did an initial cleaning and took some photos of the cone-loc barrel, parts, etc... Also Limited Family photo of the Limited and Limited Pro together. Added a couple of photos showing the Dawson Precision and EAA fiber front sights. The 9mm spring seems awfully weak (maybe shooting 10's too long) but I will break in with it. I'm taking the hot Underwood 115gr +P+ to Chrony it with a 20lb spring tomorrow. I measured the trigger pull on the Limited at 3.5lbs.

I like the ones on the Pro but can you get without the writing?

So with the 9mm mags it just runs perfect. With the 10mm mags loaded with 9mm rounds it will malfunction a little? I thought the headspacing and extraction was totally different? Does accuracy suffer shooting the 9mm out of the 10mm slide setup?

Anyone? I would love to have one if it would function as it should.

I found him but he sold it. Went on EAA's list for a Limited upper. Let's see how long that goes on....

Can someone explain to me how I could use a 9mm barrel in my 10mm Hunter?

EAA told me you can purchase them but nothing on the price. Anyone know how much the 10mm Limited conversion kit would run for my 9mm Limited?

What rating spring is factory loaded? What's suggested for +p and +p+?

I didn't fool with it much in the shop other than the pictures. I pick it up next Thursday and will check all the points you spoke of.

Hated to see the Match go but this makes the pain less Just signed the papers and will be plugging away with it next week. Now I can lay off the Wife's 9mm! I thought it shipped with the Chrome mag but it has a black K9. Also comes in the black combination locking case with a second fiber-optic front sight. So I guess I didn't get the Chrome mag and should be happier?

Anyone know about the magazine and upper fitting?
