  1. I have the tti kit in my gen 5 34. When I installed it, it brought the trigger pull down to about 3.5lbs. Now it has around 30k on it and breaks just under 3lbs.

  2. I spoke to someone at sig a few days ago and asked about the X5. He said it will probably be late spring or early summer when they start shipping them.

  3. The problem isn't pulling the trigger in dryfire, its a patience issue trying to rush to beat the timer and firing a shot without an acceptable sight picture. I would try dryfiring for a week or so not using a timer, keep doing the same drills you have been doing but instead of trying to rush to beat par times work on only firing acceptable shots. Make sure your not disturbing the sights at all when you work the trigger.

  4. Hey guys I searched and couldn't find anything. The front strap checkering on my stock 2 is extremely dull and might as well not even be there. I was wanting to sharpen the checkering up so I wouldn't have to use grip tape. What kind of file would Be best to do this? Also are there any tricks to doing it so it doesn't look terrible.

  5. anyone going to the NISA match on sunday from center city chicago that I could ride with, I'll buy the gas.

I can't today, I've got to run a couple people to the airport before the match. If you could meet me somewhere along my route though for other Schultz matches your welcome to ride with.

  6. Do it, you won't regret it! I upgraded from a 650 to a 1050 with a Mark 7 last November and it was well worth it. Before I had the Mark 7 I was always scrambling to load ammo the night before a match or before a practice session. With the Mark 7 I can run it for an hour and load all the ammo I'll need for practice and matches for a week.

Since you'll be upgrading to a completely new press I would probably suggest running the 1050 without the auto drive for a week or two so you can learn on it and get the feel for it before you put it on the Mark 7.

  7. Load data is a report, not a recipe. You determine your OAL with a push, plunk, and/or spin test. OAL used in the data is irrelevant. It's your pistol, not their test fixture. And in this case, not only is it not the same bullet -- it's plated vs jacketed, and it's not even the same profile. Push, plunk, spin. Find your OAL.

With the Precision Delta 124gr JHP and Titegroup, you will probably see 130PF somewhere around 3.9 grains IF your OAL is 1.09. I suspect you can load that bullet out to 1.13/1.14 or more in your Glock, so you probably won't see 130PF until somewhere in the neighborhood of 4.1/4.2gr. Please start low and work up. ;)

This data is for titegroup. OP has a bunch of titewad which is a quite a bit hotter than titegroup. I personally haven't used titewad but just wanted to make sure the OP didn't read this thinking it was titewad load data.

  8. Shot the TCGC classifier today was surprised to only see 21 shooters at the match. is that normal for this area or are folks still hibernating.

I also shot the match today. Tri counties match is usually pretty small but its a good group of guys and they usually have real fun stages. The pine tree matches and Schultz/NISA get a lot more shooters.

  9. Looks like tri-county has a classifier match on the 27th so I'll be taking my gear when I fly back on the 14th :D

Now I just have to figure out how I'm going to get to the match from center city chicago.

I believe Tri-county is having the classifier match on The 20th not the 27th.
