  1. I have my Granfather's Remington model 11 20 gauge now. While it is not set up for shotgun racing it is or could be a cool shotty.

Problem is it does not eject empty sheels consistently -- the second or 3rd round. It looks clean inside the action but all is not quite right.

It is not a beauty but could be a good shooter -- especially since wallys has 20 gauge shells on the shelf!!

Anybody reccomend a Smith who has knowledge of humpback patterns?

    Thanks

  3. Crossfit is F*****ing awesome! Been doing it for 8 months -- lost weight and am starting to gain muscle. last night :

    20- burpees

20 - knees to elbow(as close as I can get)

    20 - wallballs

X4 ---- great workout -- feel better after always!!!

Go 3 times a week but have a hard time doing 2 - 3 days in a row.

Biggest thing you can do is ..........JUST GO!!!!!!!

  5. my wife shoots a 625 that used to be mine. It does get heavy on long courses but the trade off is it is much more forgiving to reload. The 45's fall out and fall in..... the 686 38spl cases are long and you cannot be lazy with it reloading.

Let her try a 625 and will be buying 2 of them

  6. Santa just brought a Aluminium guide rod for the STI edge. Do I need to put the bevel on the head of the rod? I need to make sure it fits the frame but other than that what should I be lookg at?

What is the bevel for? -- clearence of the foot of the barrel?

    Thanks all & Merry Charistmas

  7. i to like the FO front sight. When my glasses were new I could see the back of the front sight clearly and exactly.

I think I have worn my lenses out looking through them though. I am going to eye doctor today and will be talking to my friends at Decot tomorrow. They have helped me find my front sight before.

I think SEEING the front sight and being able to keep seeing it when you are shooting is all important.

burn it into what you are shooting at!

I thought Seth was only 20..........

  8. last night we were downstairs where I was cutting my hair with the trimmer. I am almost done and she says "you should trim your eyebrows. Do you want me to trim them?"

I take the trimmers and without really thinking too much give the brow a #1 trim! She busts out laughing! "I can't belive you did that!" Now she has tears running down her face she is laughing so hard. I trimmed the other brow so at least they match. A little short but I won't have to trim them for a while.

I have'nt heard her laugh like that in a some time. Maybe we need to laugh more often.

I realized last night I miss the sound of her laugh.
