I've been running 1200fps RIO Low Recoil Buckshot and slugs through mine since out of the box. My girlfriend had never shot a shotgun before and she handled it fine with normal loads and low recoil loads (preferred those of course).

I was on Nordic's site today looking for a CZ specific barrel clamp to no avail, but wuddya know, they have made another run of bolt handles if anyone still needs one. http://nordiccomp.com/retail/shop/bolt-handles/nordic-components-bolt-operating-handle-fits-cz-712/

This may be a silly suggestion so I apologize in advance. But when you finish loading the tube have you been pressing the load gate release button so it will feed into the chamber?

Sounds like the follower/mag spring is getting stuck. I had this issue when I switched the the mag tube follower from Nordic. It would stick, so I switched back to the stock follower and the issue went away.

Mine will run reduced recoil rio star slugs without failures also.

I hope they have the machining dimensions all ironed out, I had to file away to get that ATI pistol grip to sit flush. Interested to see how the ATI mag tubes compare to the Nordic one.

That's strange, my action bar is all black, must be another part the changed in the 2013 model.

Do you have a picture? My recoil spring on my 2013 712 is black, not sure on the length, I'm at the work at the moment. But from memory I believe it's closer to 8" than it is 11".

Looks like ATI Gunstocks is selling a follower now for the CZ 712, has anyone tried it out? The one from nordic performs poorly in my 712 so I am considering getting ATI's. $15 though.

Went to the range, shot 18 rounds of 00 buck (low recoil 1200fps) and 10 rounds of slugs (low recoil 1200fps). Bolt cycled perfectly, no failures of any sort. Disassembly and reassembly has been a breeze. Obligational range photo.

Installed mine last night, fits well and matches the bolt nicely. Will try to test it this evening.

Look. I realize you have a shop, that has nothing to do with it. What I'm trying to tell you is there is there appears to be variance from gun to gun on the size and style of the stock handles, this effects how it locks into the bolt. Just because it works on your gun, there is a posibility it may not work on others. Before you kick into production, you may want to send a few out to test on other guns to be sure that this issue wasn't just isolated to mine and Kyle's 712s I'm trying to tell you what we went through, and hopefully something you can avoid. That's a valid point, the older models vary in other ways from the 2013's models. And so on and so forth.
