Contact MagpulQuestion for you guys. I have a thousand or more rounds through my VR now but I have a reoccurring issue coming up and hoping someone can help. I put a Magpul MOE SL stock on it and under recoil the stock will collapse to its shortest position. Not very fun when your face gets that close to the upper of a 12 guage! Are these notorious for collapsing like this or what? I know this is the model without the locking lever and maybe I messed up getting this over the locking one. Anyone know of a fix for this...or do I need a different stock. Thanks

He rejected the first batch and the new batch is out for coating
Where did you hear about this? It's past Black Friday and there's nothing out. I've been asking manufacturers if they intend to make one of these.

Hello fellas, I've been banging my head off of the walls trying to find a group of intelligent people that may be able to help me, I got my vr80 3 days ago broke the entire weapon down to degrease the 17 million pounds of sludge trapped inside as I am having it cerekoted so my brother and I don't look like twins. Here is my issue I somehow lost the entire safety assembly armscor only sells the switch online I've called emailed online chat the whole 9 they seem incompetent they want me to mail the gun back wait two months to get fixed and returned but line one of warranty says mods void warranty so does anyone know of a place where I can get a safety that will fit this model? Thanks, sorry for the book just frustrated by ignorance.
The only option will be the new 45* one coming from Taccom (note it will only be the internal barrel portion for sale, not the levers). It should be out around Black Friday and I believe will work with the factory levers as well as his extended ones. If you lost all of it, you might want to grab the new part and his levers. If you dont want a 45* or the extended levers, im sure there will be owners who will sell their stock parts off once the new stuff is ready

i feel like with the ar you need a clean trigger for fast follow up shots/controlled pairs
with shotgun you are either shooting steel and its falling over or paper with a slug once....dont exactly need a clean polished trigger for that
Yea, try 60 yd slugs on an 8 inch plate ... or 160+ yard slugs on a BC steel ...
1 hour ago, AverageJoeShooting said:I mean getting a softer shooting shotgun equals faster follow up shots. The same just cant be said for the trigger.
I'd buy one if it were 85$ anything higher than that and im simply not interested. I'll wait till elfman or any other company comes out with an affordable one
Now line up 8 clays for fast hosing ... do the work to get the gun shooting softer/flatter and being able to pull the trigger faster while not pulling off target becomes even more apparent .. and to counter the "well just use a wider choke" ... follow those clays by far slugs or heavy steel
If stuff like that doesnt happen at your local matches, great .. but start traveling and you need to be prepared for it all

Yea it's bigger than a 507 but looking at normal frame mounted open guns ... Lots of people still use cmores and those are big too. The 510 wouldn't be any issue

Like this? Or w frame mounted 510? Buddy of mine uses a 510 on this steel gun and I don't see why it would be any different from any other frame mounted optic

Comp is great, the fact that it works yet doesn't affect the pattern is keyGreat vids. Thanks!
That comp seems to shoot very flat.
Are you liking it so far?
Cheers

Because the Taccom doesn't monkey f*#k the pattern like the RIA does - probably either due to bore diameter or how the escaping gasses flow. It (RIA) works great for maximum recoil/lift control but the pattern suffers greatly. The Taccom gives SLIGHTLY more lift and felt recoil (negligible IMHO) but keeps the pattern. It's the right choice.Bare and taccom are almost the same? How can that be?Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

I'll help you out ...
Fiocchi 3dram, 7.5s, 1-1/8oz, 1200 fps ...
35 feet ...
Factory MOD choke
L = RIA Long Comp
B = Bare muzzle (no comp)
T = Taccom
Not even a fair fight

Now pattern test them ... That's the key

You can see my Taccom video and the prior testing of the RIA Long on my YT channel -- here is the VR80 playlist to make it easier:
