    Thanks Todd

We will have some outlaw 3-Gun in the future, but for now just USPSA. We still have a lot of new shooters and I don't want to make things more difficult than they need to be. It already looks like we are going to have a good turn out. Make sure you know your 100yrd zero.(you'll need it)

    ONLY 100......

I want to see you shoot the 100yrd stage :roflol:

  2. Speeking of food, I went to Chef Lee's Peking 2 tonight and man what a meal. More food than I could eat. It's a very nice place and about 1.5 miles from the hotel and they have what ever you want to drink. (FULL BAR) Complete with BIG FISH swimming under the floor(try that one after a few drinks). I work on their Heating and Air so I see the kitchen and know the owner and cooks. Very clean and great food and service. How about Thursday night 7:30 prematch party.

  3. At the Ga State I slept in the same bed (at the hotel) Thursday night that Singlestack was going to sleep in Friday night. I told him I hunched the pillows all night long. He got mad. Then I told him I was in the buff. :surprise::angry2: So now my avatar says Pillow Huncher and I can't get it off. The real funny part is, he had a real rested, happy, satisfied look on his face all day Saturday.

  4. Bad news Larry. How are you going to top this match next year. :surprise: The stages were great. What am I saying. The match was great. South River done it again.:bow::bow: I vote South River has both Area 6 matches every year FOREVER.

I had the privilege of shooting with the guys from Nordic Components and the Open Match winner James Darst on this match. What a great bunch of guys. Yes, you too Charles. We had a great time, even when we couldn't hit those darn mini poppers.

Mark, Bill, How many pounds did you gain on those brownies? You had to eat most of them. Maybe that's the secret to getting the scores done so fast. "BROWNIE HIGHS" Thanks Cheryl, I did get one.

  5. I just looked at the Self Squading for this match and I can't believe there is only 68 shooters signed up. This match and the Ft. Benning 3-Gun are the best 3-Gun matches I've ever shot. I guess the cost of amo is going to stop alot of shooters. It almost stopped me. Some time you just need to say "The Hell With It" and jump in.

You know, I can't help but feeling there are some anti-gunners out there saing "look we're doing it, their numbers are falling". Man it makes me mad. SORRY FOR THE RANT.

  6. I do enjoy shooting but I am not setting the world on fire with my results. I get the greatest satisfaction out of sharing our sport and this really made my day.

I know what you mean, I feel the same way. I have always tryed to get new shooters into this sport (USPSA) for the same reason. A year ago I was fortunate to be given a chance to help a new club/range (EAGC) get started in USPSA. We started a new shooters class that we try to have every month. We have USPSA and IDPA matches every month. I don't shoot the IDPA matches but, I am the Match Director/Course Designer and for what is worth Instructor at our New Shooters Classes. We have had a BLAST. The feeling you get when you see that ( I can do this ) look in their eyes is GREAT, and knowing that I have had a big part in about 40 shooters every month having a good time (PRICELESS). I never thought I would do any of these things but, I am.

It takes people like you to keep this sport going and make it a success. Keep up the good work.

    Ronnie
