Thanks for posting this .. it squashed my thoughts of switching powders around, but now just going to finish my 8lb jug of CFE-P.

I too have the older one that I added a case feeder and auto drive. I bought the channel clamp because MIke said it was an upgrade designed for automation. Works well. I didn't have issues prior to the upgrade, but it reinforces the unit and beats breaking the unit.
Great thanks for the info... I'll get one ordered this week.

Why don't you call Michael and find out?
It was Saturday night around 10pm.. thought someone might have experience with the newer style.

I have an older case pro 100, but the new one has a different case transfer mechanism deck.
Anytime know the difference in old vs new?

I removed my LRBO and haven't missed it in matches.

Free hazmat?! where? lol That is probably the biggest reason I rarely mail order. Takes buying 16 lbs from powder valley to come out even.
As an example Brownells has .01 hazmat and free shipping today.

Our club has a pro shop that is WELL stocked and people don't typically want to order online. But not a bad idea.
Reloaders are a cheap bunch... With free hazmat and 8lb jugs I'd buy if it saved me ten bucks, esp sales tax on out of state mail orders.

I would like to thank the other posters for their contributions. I will see if I can find a pound of it locally, not sure I am ready to buy 300 dollars worth for an online order (to absorb the hazmat fees)
Find someone else at your shooting club who needs powder... Easy way to get a big enough order to avoid hazmat...
I always can find someone wanting to buy an 8lb at free or shared hazmat (the good ol days of powder shortage)

The ETS mags work very well and all the time ! However, I don't think I would make a habit of pounding one into a PCC gun with the bolt in battery !
My ETS mags work best off of closed bolt. I was having issues after "make ready" command trying to throw the mag into my flagged PCC, like I could do with Glock or Magpul mags.
Switched to always deflagging then closing bolt and inserting mag... Has resulted in zero issues with all mags.
-
Video of product to improve your PCC with not one shot fired or shown..
I need an example review video to be sold, not just too guys promising their tonic will cure all my PCC woes.

I got the Decibullz for both of my kids. They really like them.
On the Decibullz bandwagon as well..
After spending another $5.99 for that peltor pack of inserts at Walmart... And immedietly buring thru the pack at the next match.
Decided to try Decibullz, couldn't be happier, already survived 2 matches.

And by the way, Mark 7 is no longer taking orders for Evolution press as of July 31 until they catch up with their backlog of existing orders.
I hope my order delay is due to the autodrive conversion parts....
Here's hoping... I'll see mine in August as promised on their production schedule.... Ordered Feb 13th.

I went with the handle version. I got a 9 year motor for it already, and two more for when he decides to move out.
Haha... I too have an expensive 9 year old motor, but unreliable for me to count on it to run my press for me.
Reg Evo ordered as well many months ago, but I have a Mark 7 already.
It my perception is Mark 7 sent the initial batches out to super squad folks. Great marketing, just bad wait times for us B class shooters.

Sounds rough man. Care to share videos?
A premium machine comes with great expectations.. keep working with Mark 7, they will sort you out, I assume they will want a happy customer as much as you want to be a happy customer.

He asked if he should by an Evo or an autodrive and super 1050. Buying the autodrive he ends up with an autodrive press. Buying the evolution he ends up with an Evolution manual.
Both paths can end up with an automated evoluton but buying the setup is cheaper than the other, after selling the 1050.
Beautiful Revolution, I am still in a waiting position for my evolution, August I have been told.

what would you recommend ; old version (not LTE/X/PRO) mark 7 1050 + Dillon 1050 (used) for 2800$ or Mark 7 Evolution for the same price ?
Buy the autodrive package and 1050.
I'd contact Mark 7 to see if an upgrade path is available. (From memory I think the older units are also called X). https://www.markvii-loading.com/Mark-7-Autodrive-upgrade_p_37.html
This gives you flexibility... Run the autodrive for a bit(you might realize this is all the production you need) or determine if you want to upgrade to evolution and buy the auto drive conversion kit as well. Now you can sell the 1050 and use that cash for the Evolution.
Deciding factor is if you want to automated press or pull a handle for$2800.

Some good thoughts to try. I too am having the issues OP posted.

You will be money ahead by just buying a MBF and being happy with it. I was getting about 800-900 rounds an hour output on my 650 manually with an MBF.
Now I do not like money, my path:
Hornady LNL AP
650 with case feeder and MBF
1050 with MBF and Mark 7
Currently waiting on Evolution to be delivered to mount to Mark 7.
Everytime I upgraded I lost $$$ and still have a bunch of accessories for presses I no longer own, more $$ lost.
If you take a look where you want to end up reloading presses setup and decide early on, this will also save you $$. Everytime I upgraded presses I figured I lost $200-300 minimum. If I decided early on I wanted to autodrive, I would've ended up at a 1050 press & MBF much sooner than I did (evolutions weren't an option even a year ago).

Still looks like you had fun.

Looks like they took marketing strategy from the bot automation guys.

I run Blue TC 125gr with 4.4 CFE pistol.
Out of my production guns, 130PF
Or if my PCC (taccom ulwbarrel), 135PF
But it is very dirty (unburnt powder) at light PF... I am switching powders ASAP.

MBX Mega and ETS mag here...
No issues after I figured out I need to insert the mag on a closed bolt, works perfect since.

I'll try sport pistol in the near future for "feeling"...
