Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Had a bunch of nose dive issues with my new PCC. I purchased the Taccom ramp and a splice. Easy installment of the ramp and the PCC is flawless after 300 rounds. The splice has been a freaking pain in my ass!
  2. The rule set for the UPOA match in February allowed only pump shotguns in the Patrolman division. You were also required to load off a side saddle. One magnified optic was allowed on the rifle. I suspect that the same rule set will apply in September. Hope that helps. Cheers
  3. Here is the rule link: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1RHUmeXF2NI4dBBXrMpi_R267dY6_iFyiyfgJnpDLV9Y/edit?usp=sharing
  4. I bet guy 16 is a little pissed... I was #16 and your right I am pissed... Pissed at myself! Mccallister is right, squad #1 kicked ass.
  5. Brian, the rules currently state we need a sling for rifle. I am assuming we are going to need a sling for the shotgun as well. The question: Can we get away with one sling for both platforms, or are we going to be required to sling both firearms at different times during a single stage? Thanks
  6. How did squadding work? Did staff squad you all or did they send out a link for self-squadding. Reason I ask is I am shooting the Vegas match with a buddy and we will be travelling together. It would suck if he shot in the morning and I shot in the afternoon. Thanks
  7. If you read my entire post you would have seen that I actually agreed with your point in regards to the Semi-Pro deal. As far as editing your post for, "politeness". Please, don't edit it on my account. Man up and let the post fly! I am sure someone can loan me a hurt feelings report if need be. Since I can see that our debate is going to devolve I think I will check out from here on leaving the last word with you. Take care, Mr. NuTZ Also, thanks to the 3GN team for acting quickly to resolve this issue.
  8. Mr. NuTZ I do not shoot the Semi-Pro Series, just the Club Series. So, your assumption that I am looking out for numero uno is WRONG!. The reason I made that statement is because as you know 3GN will only give points to Semi-Pros in regionals. Common sense would dictate that maybe Semi-Pros should be able to shoot one of those matches to put up a score for the Pro Series qualifier. Maybe I don't understand what the benefit of the Semi-Pro Series is if your unwilling qualify for the Pro Series. Why would you pay the extra $25? I do agree that just registering as Semi-Pro should not give you preference as it would be easily abused. In my earlier post I was trying to make a point that it appears that every 3GN member who wants to shoot a regional, should be able to shoot a regional if members are only intially allowed to register for one match. Have a nice day.
  9. Three things: First, why not allow each Pro and Semi-Pro to select one match with an alternate as Jesse has posted on Facebook. Since the Semi-Pros have ponied up the extra $25 and can only get points in these matches it only makes sense they get first crack. Then allow club members to register for one 2014 match in order of their finish during the 2013 series. Set a drop dead date for Club Members to register, Then, after that date allow the Semi-Pros to register for the remaining matches. This would allow for everyone who wants to shoot a regional match to shoot one. The Semi-Pros would also have an opportunity to shoot more than one match for best score. With 800 total slots available at the four regionals, 119 Semi-Pros and 864 Club Members (Including Duplicates), this would give everyone the most fair and best opportunity to shoot a regional match. I would think this would be preffered by the sponsors putting up all the product, as they would reach more shooters, not just the same 200 people. This method would actually support 3GN's comittment to grow the sport, something that took a hit last night. Second, I would like to apologize to the 3GN crew for railing on them in this forum last night. Frustration gets the best of us sometimes. This morning when I saw my cancellation Email I thought about putting together a nice little Hitler Learns video about last nights debacle, but then decided to offer some constructive criticism instead. As a casual competitor I want to see 3GN thrive as it brought me into the shooting sports. Third , how do we go about getting a refund for our fees. I renewed my registration 6 months early because it was unclear if you needed to be registered for the 2014 Club Series top register for 2014 Regionals. Now that my registration is torpedoed I don't need to register until a later date. Thanks
  10. No Email, but in reading their statement I suspect they will conduct complete do over!
  11. It still says registration is not open for this event... and right in the middle of a F*#king Longhorn game.. I dont' know why it says that when I click the link it says "Match Fee register"
