  1. Hi Guys, Sorry about my delay. I got a very difficult and bad health situation in my family. We received information that my brother-in-law got lymphatic cancer. He’s 42 years old, married with my wife sister, and they have 4 months wonderful little girl. Terrible. Any way, I hope I had made the right thing uploading the picture of my gun. Actually, there is a Czech Republic magazine picture. Chat you soon. Cheers Guga http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=2134875984
  2. Hi Guys, I saw some of you talking about my modified gun. I would like to explain how I did it, because I really tested lot of different configurations and this one that I use know is the best that I found. The barrel length is almost 5 inches. My compensation system is quite complicated to explain, but lets try: I have 3 holes hybrid system, but the holes are covered and have a tube passage to the front of the compensator. Then, in the compensator I have a V4. I used a C-More sight, and I use a brazilian made magazines witch gives me 19 rounds on it. I used 155 grains HPJ bullet with an Argentinean powder calls A2, brazilian brasses CBC and Remington magnum primers. Works very well. I would like to send you some pictures of my gun, but I don’t know how to post it at the forum. Cheers Guga Ribas www.gugaribas.com.br guga@gugaribas.com.br
  3. Hi, My name Guga Ribas and I am the owner of Guga Ribas Products Company. Some of you already know me, as I’ve been talking about our backpack in other forum, about two months ago. I’m happy to see that you’re talking about this subject. As a matter of fact during the EC2004 I’ve been talking with the people from the IPSC’ Committee of Rules who are answerable by the interpretation mentioned above. Though I’ve clearly shown to them that this function of our holster is absolutely safe and doesn’t bring any kind of safety risk to anyone I was not able to convince them to change their opinion at that moment. Their reasoning is based in the possibility of the athletes using this license in an unsafe way, for instance taking the belt off the body with their weapon still on the holster or even the possibility of some athlete creating a home made solution similar to our product but without the necessary safety. At least that was what I understood at that moment.. In my humble opinion a rule was created for the exceptions. My suggestion then was that in the same way that the weapons used in the production division are homologated by IPSC that our holster should be too, so permitting the use of our product with all it’s facilities. As a matter of fact it’s a question of breaking the paradigms and the most we talk about the subject, better it will be for everybody. Any way I’ll be talking with the responsible persons of the IPSC’ Committee of Rules to try to revert this situation. I’m at your entire disposal to talk about the subject and I thank you very much for the interest of all of you. If you need me for anything just let me know. Best regards Guga Ribas guga@gugaribas.com.br www.gugaribas.com.br
  4. Hi Guys, Sorry about the delay to answer. Jim, About the camelback, the picture witch is at SSI website was the first one we took of the bag, and the camelback didn't had arrived yet. I guarantee you that we have only one model with camelback. The SSI is our exclusive distributor in US. So, I can’t sell it directly. Cor, You are right. If you use mags in the back, maybe the bag will touch the mags, but I don’t think will jam with it. Thanks Guga Ribas Ps: sorry once more about my poor english.
  5. Hi Guys, If you need any further information, please let me know, ok? I discussed with Cullen about the bag, and he gave us nice ideas. Cullen we are studying your suggestions already. I’ll let you know latter. I saw someone asking how many round in ammunition compartment. If used only for ammunition, you have space for 400 rounds. If you want to carry a second gun, you can put the second gun down there and 200 rounds, and maybe as I never tried, 2 more 50 rounds box. Thanks all of you Guga Ribas
  6. Be sure you made me very proud with your words, but who must be very proud is my team. Ours employees and my partner; I’m nobody without them. I will translate it to them. Thank you very much. Guga
  7. Thanks a lot once more, Chriss Guga
  8. Dear Srs, My name is Augusto Ribas, owner of the Guga Ribas Products Company. I’m very happy that you are considering have one of ours products. I would like to send you some different pictures of our backpack, so you can have a good idea of it, but I don’t know how to do it from here. If you can send me an e-mail address I can send you directly. We know that is expensive product, but the production cost is very high as well. I guarantee this isn’t an owner speech but you don’t have to trust me at this time. Just to give you an idea, last August I was in Prague for the EC and I sold all the bags that I had (12) in the first day. So, I think the product worth the price. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Thank you very much Guga Ribas guga@gugaribas.com.br www.gugaribas.com.br PS: sorry my bad english!!!
