The last two rifles that I’ve put together have consisted of mainly Aero Precision components. I’m a fan of their barrel lineup from Ballistic Advantage as well.

Thanks for all of the input guys. Looks like my desire to shoot Glocks on a more consistent basis isn’t one that’s well founded. Too bad as I really like them. Mainly because they shoot well, but also because they’re the only platform that I’m comfortable working on myself due to the simplicity of the design. I tend to like to tinker.

Glocks are fine guns, however, people come in all shapes and sizes, what works for one doesn't always work for another. I hate to see someone throw good money after bad with a gun that just don't fit them. The only reason i responded to this thread is glocks bite me too, granted they were the gen 3 models from back when you couldn't add a beavertail, so i originally was going to suggest a beavertail on a gen 4 or 5, but he is already doing that and it ain't working, so maybe one of the guns that don't bite him is the answer. That is just a response based on logic and reason, but, whatever....
You aren’t wrong. Your solution is one that I’ve already came to terms with unfortunately. I posted as a last ditch effort in hopes that someone may have experienced something similar and could share what they did to alleviate said issue.
I do appreciate your input, as well as everyone else’s.

They arnt terrible
and i feel like at a certain point splitting ounces wont make you a better shooter.
a 7 oz bcg vs an 8.2 oz one wont improve your shooting
I couldn’t agree more. At least not for the average weekend warrior like myself.

Unfortunately rules in general are arbitrary more often than not....too many personal feelings involved.

I am pretty sure that is correct as the Glock part is an OEM part.

Our local USPSA club is not a stickler on the category rules, so it is not a problem for me. Although I use the G35 with frame mounted RDS and magwell in Open. The G17 has an ALG 6 Second Mount with Aimpoint and Streamlight for night matches and home defense.
Got it off eBay for ~$10 for a set of two, each a different texture. I use the same one as in the picture.
Thanks. I may give one a try for some of my guns that aren’t used in competition.

I have a buddy that has B14. Granted he is one of those guys that seem to be able to shoot anything well, but he makes it look really good! I personally prefer the trigger and action of my Tikka but the B14 is certainly no slouch.
-
The Tikka is going to be difficult to beat without going full custom. The action and accuracy alone is worth the price IMO.

I would say whichever one the better shooter is shooting on that particular day. Same shooter? I’d say the one that he has practiced with the most.

I have never had an issue with the factory trigger shoe on the S2. I may actually prefer it over my 85C trigger shoe.

Scott is a great guy! Shot with him when he first started shootinh competition when he was still in N.C. He’s definitely put in the work to improve.

CZC plates should be available this week or next.
Any idea on cost for the plates?

I had one of these a few years ago. I’m fact, the ownership of that gun is what inspired my first CZ purchase which was an SP-01 Shadow. It’s been a wild ride since then. Love the CZ and clones!

I’ve been using the Holosun 515c. I find it a great combination for many platforms. On the PC9 I use the the low mount and it allows great cheek weld. Even in bright light the dot-circle shows up for me. YRMV.
Tough to beat for the quality and value that you get!

510C on Open guns? The cool kids are starting to catch on.

I absolutely hate this classifier! My go to warm up drill at the range is a Bill Drill. How many rounds do you shoot in a Bill Drill? That’s right, 6! So, guess what I always do from the draw on this classifier? Yep! I shoot 6 every dang time! 4 PE every time I shoot it!
-
Shot this one for the first time last month at my local club match. Bobbled the reload and still managed 82%. Likely my favorite classifier to date though.

Odd that CZ would ship the guns with no plates. Even more odd that they would ship guns when no plates are available.
Should USPSA provide a printed rulebook to its members?
