Yes! I disassembled my X5 completely, removed all traces of old oil and grease using Froglube solvent. Then heated all the parts and lubed them with the paste (which melts when applied to warm parts). Wiped everything completely dry and assembled it all back again. I have done that procedure twice.. Now I just wipe everything of with a microfibre-cloth.. some FL Solvent if it's really bad.
The difference to normal grease is that the gun is completely dry.. The dirt tend to stick to grease/oil.. Not to Froglube.
I'm totally happy with it and will never go back to traditional oil/grease again.
And.. it smells nice
