Just pop the roll pin out of the trigger safety. It keeps you from having any malfunctions and it’s striker fired...why would you need a trigger safety anyhow.

If you can reach sub 3’s from surrender you are in the top 1% I would guess. That takes years if time and thousands of rounds to get there.

I agree with most guys dry fire has pushed me further ahead than anything.
But as one gentlemen put it above too much can lead to burnout or divorce so design it so you still enjoy it at the end of the day.

For practice I recommend shooting 6-8" steel plates or remove the center A zone from your paper targets and build your speed shooting those in practice. If you can hit taargets taht big you will never worry running full speed in an actual match.

I love this! IDPA - the guys that go to bed imagining how they would slice a pie and retain their mags during a shoot out only to find out that they only had 5 rounds in your BUG anyhow. It ain't real life fellas...load-em up and have fun! If you want to pretend you are in a war...they have paintball for that!

Thanks man! I have waiting for them to get a bit bigger in the US. I bought an M&P when they first came out and had such a hard time finding accessories (holsters, mag pouches, etc) that I told myself never again. Doesn't mean that I don't keep oogling the BUL though. I want one bad!

I recommend having a Bu gun for all the reasons stated above. But also consider that your backup gun needs to have the same feel or near identical so that you don't have to adjust to it in the middle of a match. A different trigger pull or grip angle can really mess you up for a couple of stages until you get it down again.

Never ripped a thumb nail but it has definitely caused a malfunction and you loose a couple seconds if your thumbs drift up AT ALL!

Wish they had better distributors in the US. I tried a couple companies but they don't have much information and there is little to know information on available replacement parts and magazines. They seem like a great gun too!

Look into Blackdog Gunworks. Can't remember his name but I belive he has a facebook page and his guns are incredible.

I hate the 180 rule because so many people try to set up their stages to get you to break it. If we are truly concerned about safety in this sport then keep targets closer to 160 so that it isn't a temptation. My thoughts have always been DON"T PLACE TARGETS NEAR 180!!!

Can anyone tell me why you can't get these guns in the states? I tried calling International Firearms Corp and when I finally got a hold of them no one would call me back. It is a shame because these seem to be a good quality gun. I would love to test drive one if I could find one.

I am curious why I don't see more Man vs Man tournaments. The old American Handgunner match in Montrose, CO and the MGM Grand Nationals in Parma, ID were well attended and the absolute funnest matches I have ever shot. With all the bullets you get to shoot, the number of times you get to shoot a stage, and all the adrenaline that comes from having to beat the guy or gal next to you; Why are these matches not more popular? Ok go!

I have the same problem. I try to locate information on M&P and it returns a 0 search result. Brian could you see if there is a fix?

Don’t use the Apex competition springs they are too light. I have tried a few of them and always the same. Use a regular striker spring from a Wolf kit and it works great.
