  1. I use a Tachyon HD camera and mount it on my earpro. I also have a buddy film me if at all possible.

    My YouTube channel is: sousa33

I got some good video I think.

  2. Trijicon TriPower.

Interesting, I was just looking at them. How do you feel it compares to a standard red dot?

I've been using one since 2006 and love it. Super clear glass and I really like the chevron reticle. Some of the guys in my squad were having problems with their dots washing out in the sun glare on stage 6. I had no issues with it. Really the only downside has to do with the battery. Battery life sucks if you do a lot of night shooting. Another issue is that It uses 1/3N batteries which can be a pain in the butt to find sometimes. It's also a bit overpriced now since it hasnt been updated more than once since it first came out. If it had better battery life, it would definitely be one of the better dot style optics out there.

  3. I dont reload. I dont have the time to learn and buy components needed to do it myself. With that out of the way, I would like the group to check out my Open Glock 17's ejection pattern and see if it's ok. I think it's weak, but this is my first open type gun and I cant be sure.

    Gun specs are:

    2nd generation G17

Jager Products Open Kit (KKM pre fitted barrel, Jager comp, ISMI 11 lbs recoil spring, Jager guide rod, C-More RTS and mount)

    JP magwell

    Glock Plates slide racker

I took the gun out today for the first time and shot 200 rounds. I had 2 failures to feed, but they were mag related. No ejection problems, but I wanna be sure that they dont crop up...

In the first video, I'm shooting Federal 147gr American Eagle

In this video, I'm shooting Federal 115gr American Eagle

So what say the masses? Should I get a heavier spring, or is this one ok? Should I get a longer ejector?

  4. I'm using a Primary Arms Micro Dot on my 22/45. It fits your price range, and if you get the removable base model, you can use a genuine Aimpoint mount. Here's how mine looks with the Aimpoint mount. Also, if you end up not liking it, you could sell it almost instantly over on ARFcom...

Volquartsen trigger and Ti disconnector & polished factory sear
