Sousa-put all of the stages in one video. Makes it sooooo much easier to watch the match.
I dont know how.....lol

I use a Tachyon HD camera and mount it on my earpro. I also have a buddy film me if at all possible.
My YouTube channel is: sousa33
I got some good video I think.

I also shot my first match with my Open Glock at LP on Saturday. I had a great time!!!

Cool thanks!

I know it's a weird question, but I have a chance at a full Glockworx fulcrum trigger kit for a Gen4 for a REALLY good price. Would it work in my Gen3? Any issues that anyone is aware of?

I usually use Federal bulk packs, but I've used CCI Mini Mags and CCI SV as well. My 10/22 runs anything I feed it. My 22/45 is finicky, but I cant figure out of it's magazine or ammo related.

Lose the slip on grip and stipple that sucker!!!

Interesting, I was just looking at them. How do you feel it compares to a standard red dot?
I've been using one since 2006 and love it. Super clear glass and I really like the chevron reticle. Some of the guys in my squad were having problems with their dots washing out in the sun glare on stage 6. I had no issues with it. Really the only downside has to do with the battery. Battery life sucks if you do a lot of night shooting. Another issue is that It uses 1/3N batteries which can be a pain in the butt to find sometimes. It's also a bit overpriced now since it hasnt been updated more than once since it first came out. If it had better battery life, it would definitely be one of the better dot style optics out there.

I was super happy and surprised to get 2nd place in Limited with my SBR. My little 10.5" barrel wasn't the handicap that I thought it would be.
Did you use a red dot or irons? If a red dot, which one? I use a aimpoint micro. I felt it worked well even with a 4 moa dot at 200 yards.

What a great match! Thanks again for putting this on. I did much better than I thought I would with an SBR and a non-magnified optic. That 200 yard stage was Hell with the sun glare....

I sent my forms in for a buddy and I today. Cant wait for this! It's been a while since I did a rifle match...

So you think it looks weak as well?
-
I dont reload. I dont have the time to learn and buy components needed to do it myself. With that out of the way, I would like the group to check out my Open Glock 17's ejection pattern and see if it's ok. I think it's weak, but this is my first open type gun and I cant be sure.
Gun specs are:
2nd generation G17
Jager Products Open Kit (KKM pre fitted barrel, Jager comp, ISMI 11 lbs recoil spring, Jager guide rod, C-More RTS and mount)
JP magwell
Glock Plates slide racker
I took the gun out today for the first time and shot 200 rounds. I had 2 failures to feed, but they were mag related. No ejection problems, but I wanna be sure that they dont crop up...
In the first video, I'm shooting Federal 147gr American Eagle
In this video, I'm shooting Federal 115gr American Eagle
So what say the masses? Should I get a heavier spring, or is this one ok? Should I get a longer ejector?

I have been looking for the same thing here in the PA, NJ, MD areas. Willing to travel for the right course.
Just come to some matches. That's what I did. Plenty of people there to help you out with pointers and your set up.

I like Green Mountain barrels myself. I run a fluted & threaded 20" on my 10/22. It's a tack driver.
