Well I don't know how to post pictures on here But I had the STI uspsa 9mm out to the range yesterday and let me tell you I'm very impressed with it!! I only had the one factory mag with me so I only shot 125 rounds total but had no problems at all except that with my high thumb grip I use on my czShadow would slow down the slide
This thing is very accurate at 12 yards freestyle I can punch 1" holes and at 20 yards I was getting 2-3" groups using 124g Frontiers behind 4.1g of titegroup, can't wait to try some longer shots outside with my match loads (125g Zero's)
The fit and finish looks and feels great although I'm thinking of having it hard chromed down the road
The trigger is crisp and light with a average of 2.11 lbs The Fiber optic on the front (smaller than the CZ) is easy to find. The rear sight I find is nicer than the CZ sp01 shadow not sure why but this combination seems to be quicker to acquire according to the timer
It will take a bit of practise on my end with my draw and reloads and I will have to completely re examine my grip (high left thumb) on slide, but I'm sure once I work on these I will do just fine competing in IPSC classic division
Not knocking Kimbers as I've never shot or owned one but I did handle a few in the same price range before I bought this one and they didn't have as nice of a trigger and didn't feel quite as smooth as the STI does,
I guess the true test will be when my Tripp mags get here and I start with 300-400 round weekly practise sessions and see how reliable this combination really is
