  1. Thanks, I'll look into that, this is my first STI style pistol and still learning all the ins and outs.
  2. I have two of the new style mags in 9mm, one of them ran fine out of the box and the other needed the spring bent to prevent nose dives. I've only put 250 rds through each of them and I haven't had any problems since bending the spring in #2. I will say the mag that was giving me nose dives has a lighter spring than the trouble free mag, and the feed lips are tighter at the front than the other one, .350 compared to .353. I'm using them in a very tight new CK thunder, and I'm going to order the Dawson mag tuning kit to get them perfect.
  3. Thanks, I ended up with a RIA double stack when I lost my patience trying to find a stock 2 last year. Do you know if the Tanfo has a larger grip from front to back than a CZ shadow 2?
  4. These seem to be out of stock everywhere, does anyone have a general time frame of when EAA/Tanfoglio restocks items?
  5. Thanks everyone going to check those out and sent Yagi a PM.
  6. I've never purchased a gun online and I'm actually kind of worried about it because I don't trust the New Orleans post office. I'm also looking for a quick shipping time and not dealing with an online retailer that takes a few days to ship.

Hey BE when I say prepared to win I mean you trained hard in the best way possible. I don't mean preparing for the actual event of winning. I like what you posted, I started shooting because I wanted to master the pistol, and understand what is happening while I shoot. I used to have a horrible flinch that actualy started it all. I haven't searched yet but I think it would be cool to hear how everyone got their start and why they want to get better.

I'm with AikiDale the only secret to winning is preparing to win. the top athletes in every sport aren't just talented, we all hear about their work ethic. If you want to win you'll be out there more than the next guy.
  9. Thanks so much now all I need are my dies and I'll be ready to get started thanks again
  10. Hello everyone this is my first post, and I'm looking for a range in the New Orleans area preferably an outdoor range with people who do more practical shooting than the tacticle stuff. All I have found so far are indoor ranges, and when I ask about shooting from sandbags everyone asks why do you want to do that? I would like to start shooting from the bench first like it says in TB. If any one knows of a place or how I could find one I would sure appreciate the help thanks
