[Hi, I'm ordering a new sit trubor 38super, what options to get?]

Just about to put in an order for a standard STI Trubor in 38super blued. Want to try my hand at open platform. Hoped to find out what options to get or stay away from. As some background, i've been shooting production for a while and generally shoot a 2.25 lb trigger 1911 format, i'm right handed, right eye dominant.

Thought about getting the heavy STI magwell as i generally prefer a heavier gun and am a bit recoil sensitive, as well as 2 lb trigger, polished ramp, extended magazine release. Never had a slide racker, are there drawbacks to this option? I'd love to get thoughts and recommendations as to which options to get, which to stay away from, preferred brands etc. thanks

I'm so excited about it, my first open pistol. It sounds like a very good deal that they're running. Dawson's has always treated me well, i just know its going to be amazing.....now i must be patient.
