  1. Picked up an XDs yesterday, and put 100 rounds thru it this afternoon. Functions and fires perfectly, shoots nice tight groups, and the red fiber front site is awesome. I prefer to use the 7 round mag as I've got large mitts but the 5 rounds work with my pinky wrapped around my support hand. One thing the XDs is not, is easy on the hands, at least compared to my 4" XD45. The grip is very aggressive, like an old “pineapple” grenade and leaves pretty good impressions on your hands. It also will give you a good case of “Glock thumb” which kind of looks and feels like rug burn by the end of the day. In the end, a very nice piece and I’m happy with it overall. Even with its limited capacity of 7+1 it’ll most likely become my primary carry, but with an extra 5 round mag in my pocket.
  2. Huh... Not to rub it in, but I just had 4K 115 FMJs show up at my door. Montana Gold is running as fast as they can folks, you'll get your stuff. And yes it's a few more bucks than 8 months ago but as EkuJustice pointed out it's still way better that AR stuff. I've been waiting on H110 and A1680 powder since December. Don't even get me started on how long I've been waiting on stuff from Dillon! (Trimmer, 650 quick change, Small rifle CF plate)
  3. Ordered 115 FMJ from MG on 3/30 recieved shipping notice today! How awesome is THAT?!
  4. Showing 1# cans of TiteGroup in stock as of 12:29am 3/6/13. https://www.midsouth...sp?sku=00034TG1 Good Luck Fellas. Jim
  5. According to the Dillon XL650 Utility (availible here: http://www.nfatoys.com/dillon/) 223 shell plate is Dillon #13345 which is the "#3 shell plate". Jim
  6. Just an FYI: Ordered 2,000 9mm 115gr back on Janurary 8th and finally got Shipping confirmation yesterday. Those poor folks are slammed busy, but they are delivering and NOT price gouging. Kudos! Jim
  7. Just ordered 8lbs myself. Good luck! Edit: they are showing the 1# in stock only, not 8# kegs. Jim
  8. Hell yeah, just ordered 5000! Thanks for the heads up Louie!!
  9. Go with the bullet feeder! I use the powder check and an RCBS seat/crimp die. No issues, no worries.
  10. JAK, you're gonna love the 650! I just started loading a few months ago and got a 650 as my first press. Just gather as much info as you can and don't be in a hurry with anything, take your time and have fun! Jim
  11. Thanks Guys!! Yeah the Go-Karts are my other hobby, I'm only allowed two. The stand is 2" square steel (3/16 wall I think) with 1/4" thick 5x5 plates welded to each end, Red Head anchors to the floor. You can't see it because of the angle I took the photos, but there's another 2" square with a plate mounted to the wall directly behind the press, looks like an upside down "L". Tried it at first with out the brace behind which did work but as you can imagine the press bobbed around a bit. Cheers, Jim
  12. Hey Guys, I've been lurking for awhile now, learning a bunch before taking the plunge into reloading. This forum is awesome! Anyway, bought a 650 about four months ago. I've loaded over 2,000 9mm and 1200 45ACP, I can't get enough! So today my KISS bullet feeder shows up and I'm loving it! Set up in about 30 minutes and ran off 100 rounds of 45 in not time! No real point to this post I'm afraid, just had to tell folks (that would care) about my new toys, besides to say thanks for all the info. Jim
