I see it as a courtesy.

I do not own a Black Mamba but have shot one. They are wonderful.

Our commercially made stomp boxes would need a crate of mags dumped on them to activate.

I'm in the process of hanging an FTP Alpha on a CORE slide. I ordered the CMORE MT-500 plate but found I needed the S&W plate as well to complete the mount. I am hoping to get that kind of overhang with the FTP dot as well. (Slide was an ebay purchase and didn't come with the plates.)

Take a center punch to the bottom side of the sight. Ding it with the punch and raise a little metal. That ought to help keep the sight in place.

I love the Dillon flip tray. Big, heavy and it works.

I gave up and went to CO.

I put a wad of hot glue on the Dillon RN seating die stem. Then I pressed a bullet into the glue while it was still warm (coated 124 gr RN). I think it gets me a more consistent finished round, OAL wise. No doubt it helps with concentricity as well.
I also believe the Mr. Bulletfeeder has helped with a more consistent finished round as well. (Bullets seated straighter more consistently.)

I think you're wasting time and money trying to fix a non problem (and now you're tumbling, lol). The Lee FCD is an unnecessary crutch. I load mixed brass on a 650 with Dillon dies and my rejection rate is ~1% using a hundo gauge. If a round sits a little proud in the gauge, like the one pictured above, I consider it a pass because I know it will plunk in all my barrels (test a range of failures to confirm). Again, make sure that the sizing die makes contact with the shell plate, do not back it off.
This has been my experience with the 650, Dillon dies and using mixed brass as well. Loading 124 grain coated lead bullets. The Hundo gauge is a wonderful tool btw.

One enterprising RO at our club attached timers to the end of a yardstick. Works like a charm.

I do end up being the first shooters because of alphabetical order. Except my very first match, I am always the 1st or 2nd shooter at some stage. A few times when the stage was big, I knew I was not ready but time was up. Like the reload-at-buzzer screw-up last match, I was the 2nd shooter. But that's part of the game and not an excuse for my screw-up...
I wouldn't hesitate to ask to be moved somewhere further down in the shooting order. Most decent RO's, knowing who is a newbie, will do this automatically. It's just too much for a new shooter to absorb IMHO. Plus I believe it's safer. New shooters get a chance to be more acclimated to the squad and get to see how others run the stage. Less stress, less chance of screwing up IMHO.

I've run my trusty old RCBS Jr. press since I bought it new in '79. Old school cast iron frame.
It has loaded many, many rounds.

Sent mine back. Just TOO finicky.
If it had been a $12 item, I still would have been disappointed in its performance.

Joe and Kamala want to NFA big mags and semi-autos. That does not bode well for the sport, regardless of ammo supplies.
I hope the Trump haters are happy now.

They sent a lower link rebuild kit for my 550b when I had some play in mine based on an email with a few photographs. I was happy about it.
I have a (very old) powder measure that cracked. It wasn't the fault of the equipment. Can't blame them for it. I had a spare. If I ask them about it and they replace or fix, I'll be happy about that too.
Do you have two accounts to make your complaint about Dillon CS seem more legitimate? Does it make you feel more special when you get a reply to your thread from yourself? Or is it better when your reply gets a response from the OP?
Yes, I'm very special.
Through a moderate mixup on my part, I had an old(er) account here and I didn't remember creating it. Now, I've realized the error and am using just one account.
Dillon CS did come through and sent me a new measure AFTER I had sent my old measure in to them at my expense. Up until now, I have had no complaints about Dillon support.

I don't know if the aluminum version worth that much more. I have a poly trigger on my 2.0 compact and it's very nice. It's a nice improvement over the stock configuration.
-
The FSS definitely reduces both pre-travel and over travel. Big difference IMHO. The Competition kit makes a very nice trigger though, especially with the Apex trigger shoe It reduces pretravel and over travel some but not as much as the FSS. It's entirely shootable though..
I prefer the aluminum triggers personally. I like the contour and I have myself convinced that the trigger break is a bit crisper as compared to the poly triggers.
If you want to spend the $$$$, the FSS is very, very good. But the Comp kit won't be a hindrance at all.
I am running a 1.0 CORE and a 1.0 Pro btw.
MY $0.02.

I got a chance to do a little work on the M&P today.
1) Checked Apex barrel fit. The 2lbs force they recommend to "nudge" the slide into battery after final fitting was closer to 5lbs according to the trigger pull gauge I hung on the back of the slide. Did a little more fllling on the barrel and got it to 2lbs.
2) Installed Apex FRE.
3) I put a slight angle on the blunt nosed factory ejector. I don't believe the factory contour gave the empty cases any reason to kick outwards. In fact, to my eye anyway, the ejector was angled slightly INWARDS.
Now I get a pretty consistent 3 o'clock ejection pattern as LONG AS I GRIP THE GUN TIGHTLY. Even with my mixed headstamp reloads. The ejected brass appears to come out at a nice low trajectory too.
I was a little apprehensive about filing away on the ejector but heck it's only a $3 part. I can always start over on another.
Now to go remount the plate and DPP.

New to me 1.0 CORE. Bought it used. Advertised as lightly used. (It appears that way.)
Apex FSS
Apex SDI barrel
Leupold DPP and Leupy plate
Occasionally, about once or twice per 100, I'll get a malfunction where the fired case gets pinched in the ejection port and causes a stoppage. I tried a 13 lb Glock flatwire recoil spring this AM on a captured rod. It doesn't seem to make much difference, malfunction wise. I'm leery of running it in a match right now as the malf can be very slow to clear.
I didn't bring along my Torx wrench to remove the DPP this AM. I am thinking an occasional case is getting kicked back down into the ejection port off of the DPP. Ejection on this gun, and my relatively unmolested 1.0 Pro (Apex trigger/guts is all), is erratic at best. Brass goes just about everywhere but the 1.0 Pro never gets the same malfunction using the same loads and mags.
The extractor on the CORE seems to hold an unfired round fairly tightly and as far as I can see, the extractor is in good shape.
I've got an Apex extractor on the way and will give that a whirl in the CORE.
Other than trying to run the CORE w/o the DPP onboard to see how it runs, I can't think of anything else. I could try the original ported barrel in it to see how it runs too I guess but I think that's a long shot.

Now that I've sent the busted measure in, on my dime, I get an email telling me a replacement is on the way.
I'm not too very damn very impressed with Dillon CS right now.

This happened to me about 6 months ago. Called Dillon and told them what happened. Sent out a replacement that day. Great CS.
That's what I thought would happen. I have to ship my busted measure to them, on my dime, then they'll send me a replacement measure.
Not sure why. It's not repairable. Scavenge some parts off of it is all. I sent pics to indicate what broke where but nope. Send it in.
-
The powder measure casting broke at the very bottom of the measure where it clamps on the expander die. I noticed I wasn't getting much if any belling on the cases and the measure was hopping around noticeably.
Hopefully Dillon responds quickly to my email.
