How much kinetic energy does a 55gr. 223 have coming out of an 11" barrel? Is it enough to knock down a competition steel target?

Is there a list of manufactures that have agreed to make/sell AWB firearms until the 11th hour? I know CTD, among others, turned on us and in addition to knowing who to stop buying from, I would like to know who to show extra support(ie buy more from) in the future.

That would be awesome...$400 AR's with less than 100 rounds through 'em, $5 Gen 3 Pmags, brass-cased 223 @ $200 a case, no more paying the conceal carry permit tax to bear arms, etc

we'll have to wait and see how AWB 2.0 does in the legislative branch, then if scotus will let it become law.

I just want to see what else is going on besides $60 pmags, and $2000 AR's.

What would you prioritize in the face of an AWB 2.0 and in what ratio? I'm thinking 10 mags to 1 receiver is decent. What are your opinions?

What's the deal with US barrel length minimum of 16" and the AK mysteriously having that barrel length? Was the barrel length law set by someone that owned an AK? Is the AK barrel length something just past 16" in it's metric measurement (ie 16.5234")?

What do you use to mark your magazines? I want to know what kind of type, what colors you use, if you use a paint, how you cull bad magazines out? I was thinking using a colored duct tape and writing numbers on the tape? Pics welcomed.
