  1. I've never had a problem with WinClean brass pockets. Others have caused problems occasionally. After a reloading session, I put everything through a case gauge. The ones that fail that test (and the really ugly problems like crumpled brass, shaved bullets, etc.), I check the headstamps of and if a repeat offender shows up, I toss that brass. Usually, if its a brass issue, all of that headstamp in that run will cause you grief... My $0.02
  2. Brian: Forgive me if this was already answered. Can/will Dillon not direct ship orders from you directly to the end customer? Why or how are you incurring actual shipping charges greater than what Dillon shows on their site? Also, your customer service is outstanding, but I'm not sure the broader market (tell me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the crowd you are marketing to is as select as 3quartertime apparently does ;-) ) will actually pay a premium for a Dillon because it comes from brianenos.com. Maybe if it was a special edition. (In KOTH's Boomhauer voice "Dang ol' reloader man WOOWEE I tell you whut, got Dang ol' Brian Enos' signature right on it ,yup. Just pull that handle and chink, ting...") That said and depending on the answers to the shipping charges questions above, the 5% 0-500; 7.5% 500-750; and 10% $750+ structure and actual shipping seems reasonable.

Random deluded thoughts!!! I have rhymed an un-rhyme-able word!!! Oriole & Creole (Is it like a spelling bee, do I have to try to use it in a rhyme?) Then again, when does a rhyme "become" a rhyme?;-) Also temporarily inspired by the meaning/word discourse below to remember something I believe is attributable to Lily Tomlin. "It's my belief we developed language because of our deep inner need to complain."

OK, here goes nothing. 1)Jack Barnes: 2 other possible answers. a) took the blindfold off after he turned around and bang. (didn't say specifically other than he walked blindfolded) 25 meters walking forward, 25 meters backing up, turn around, point blank, bang. 2) No echo animal sound Duck's quack. 3) Which doesn't belong? I'll go with the painfully obvious answer Flexmoney gave first, month doesn't begin with the letter O whereas the others do.
  5. Duane: Sorry if this is redundant, I tried searching the forum and didn't find any hits to the keywords I used. Thanks for your patience. Your point about the company not putting it out if it was going to cause reload issues makes sense. Wanted to see what others thought/had found.
  6. I've been shooting the Winchester Winclean white box ammo through my 1911 until my 650 arrived. In addition to the stuff I shot, I've picked up quite a bit of Winchester brass on the range where I've been scrounging. I've noticed that the Winclean I've been shooting has a larger flash hole than any other brass I've gotten my mitts on (even other Winchester brass). My questions to the forum are: - is it safe to reload (and then shoot) the stuff with the large flash hole? -will it have any discernable impact on performance when compared to brass with a smaller flash hole?
  7. Color: limited sizes and color combos.... bone/tan/khaki black/negro dark green/jade If "we" could only pick one color, what would it be? bone/tan/khaki :-P
  8. I realize this is probably a dead subject (lastpost 7 mos old), but I will recommend Sweeney's new book (The Gun Digest Book of the 1911) for anyone generally familiar with 1911s and wanting to know more about things like variations, disassembly, reassembly as well as a review of several models from various manufacturers. My wife didn't like it quite as much since it took me away from her for 2 - 3 days as I consumed it (or did it consume me :-) ) I digress (probably because it's just so darned fun...)
