  2. Hi I have searched and see that the Pact this very good. Would it be good for chronographing to and how does it work I can not find a pic of it with the chronograph module and the skyscreens. Or what would be good to get I would like to a printer for the chrono Thanks Chris

  4. Ok I figured out what was wrong with shaving a ring off the lead bullet. I had the wrong expander plug in the powder die I changed it out and it work fine now.
  5. Yep I have a 011 for my Para and the fit was good but I did not like to fit with the STI. I should be getting it Monday I need to get it tweaked as BrianH said I will be shooting in the LA Section Championship in Nov 2&3. I just do not want my gun to hit the ground. Again Thanks for the info guys

  7. I am going to be getting a Safariland Model 012 holster for a STI what do I need to do to make the gun fit. Note: May need slight "modification" for the STI Edge. This was on the holster page I have a Patriot from Dawson. Thanks Chris
  8. Hi I don't know if this is the place to ask this. Can dry firing do damage to you gun? Can you just pull back the hammer or do you have to pull back the slide and do you have a dummy round in the gun. Just got a new STI and I don’t want to damage it.   10. Yep I did not have a problem with my 45 acp and I used all types of brass to. For now I am going to put the 175 swc to the side and get some jacketed bullet and try that. I am just trying to get it together before the state shoot I have not had much time to work on it because of theT storm and now the hurricane
  11. I put a lot of bell in the mouth and it still does it with the Fed brass and the crimp is good I measured the mouth of the case like Brian said to do in his reloading video. I thank I am going to go with the jacketed bullets
  12. Thanks 3quartertime yep I have been reading this forum for some time I got lot of good info. The 650 has a crimp station, with the same set up it works fine with the Win brass it happens when I am setting the bullet in the Fed brass. Thanks (Edited by Chris40 at 4:41 pm on Oct. 1, 2002)
  13. Hi everyone I am looking for some help I have a Dillon 650 and I have reloaded a lot of 45 acp’s on it. I got a new STI in 40 S&W when I seat the bullet I get a ring of lead that comes up I am seating them at 1.150. It only happens on Federal brass witch is thicker at 0.16 or am I doing something wrong. It does not happen with I use Winchester brass. What type of brass or you using and should I just use 180 jacketed. Thanks Chris
