18 mk12 heavy in a 5.56. Switched to A rifle length gas system with adj block and I Love It!!

Just a side note... I have the ati als on mine and after a few matches the check weld started to peel a bit, it has a thin rubber set on it. I called ati and had a new one within a week plus some extra stuff No charge! Excellent customer service and they seem to stand by their product.

Ran a match this weekend. Gun ran flawless!!!!!! Just operator loading speed was the only issue.........as expected. Fat fingers unite!
