here is my CZ 75 shadow T and my CZ 85C SAO

I started shooting IDPA with my HK usp. I would place at the bottom of the top half all the time. I came across this sight or maybe a video of Angus shooting his CZ. So I bought the CZ 75 shadow target. So after shooting it a week, i was back at shooting the local matches, Fun gun, IDPA, Defensive pistol. I consistently place in the top 7 spots now. is it all the gun? Maybe, I took a skill builder course when i got the shadow was my first and only pistol I have had. Moral of the story, I sold all my HKs (3) SA XDM to get another CZ... The guns are great, they shoot great.... Aaron

thanks guys... one more question.. i just bought a mossberg 930 blackwater edition, where are people getting this "custom" 24 inch barrel from? are they off the shelf somewhere?

I too wan to buy the 712 als and have the barrel shortened to 24 inches.. would this work? wold there bee any problems doing that? I feel like the 20 inch barrel is too short, JMHO!

Hey guys, new here and wanting to get into 3 gun. just wondering how much it cost to have a 28" barrel shortened to 24" and threaded for chokes... and recommendations on shops to do so. I am located in Fort Collins Colorado, and i don't know if anyone out here does that. I don't even know what questions to ask... any help would be appreciated. Aaron

Hey new guy here. Just got into IDPA, love it. Been shooting since I was a kid. I figured IDPA would be more fun than sitting targets on the range...

Last month I shot my first IDPA mach. I had to use my HK USP 45 because I had a little trouble getting my CZ75 shadow T.. Anyway, I shot the CDP division however I think the RO assumed I was shooting SSP so he had me load my mags to capacity (12). at any rate out of 38 people i placed 16 and had the lowest TPD.. which I think means total points deducted. I was a little nervous and didn't exactly understand the game. there is another one this month that I am hoping to get out ans shoot. Also, if i am at a match, can I shoot 2 divisions with 2 different guns on the same day? I would like to shoot ssp with the cz and trade off my HK set up for a 1911 to shoot CDP.
