  1. First off, I have no idea where to post this so here it is. Second, yes I did a search but my search foo is appearantly too weak (as usual). I am attending an RO class next month and wonder what to expect, what to take with me, and how to prepare. I have been shooting USPSA for about 8 months, 1 or 2 matches a month, but just recently joined so am not yet classified. I have designed and set up a few stages and have been handling the score sheet the last few months so have a basic understanding of setting up and running a stage/match. I appreciate all replies but “bring a good attitude” is a given and not really helpful advice. I have a good attitude toward the sport, competing, and learning, that is why I am taking the class! I am looking for more concrete advice like; “a half dozen 3X5 cards are nice”, or “wish I had taken a high lighter”, “actually reading the rule book before attending is good”, etc. Thanks!
  2. efkfiredragon.com has one, but I don't have enough posts to add the link in my reply. I don’t know anything about it though. I have a Stormlake 40 to 9mm barrel in my standard 4.5 XDm and although I have only had it out once for around 50 rounds it worked fine. I did experience some stove-pipe stoppages but I attribute that to weak 9mm reloads and the stock .40 recoil spring. I got it on sale from an internet re-seller for $124 plus shipping, they now list them at $160. I e-mailed Bar-Sto a while back and they said they would make a conversion barrel for the 5.25 XDm although they do not specifically list one on their site. They might make one in 3.8 if you asked but bring your big boy wallet! I suspect you get what you pay for though and I will probably buy one from them later this year.
