  1. Wow thanks for all the info. Start my new job Wednesday and will be required to work all saturdays for the first few months at least I am sure. I would love to find some sunday shoots. I will check out the sites you mentioned and see what all there is.

  2. Read the first two pages and don't think i saw this one. When i was in school I went to the same summer camp every year. One of the older counselors name was mike and I had known him for years. At the end of camp each year they gave a list with everyone in the camp and emails incase anyone wanted to stay in touch. I was flipping through looking and saw the counselors page and was reading their names. Turns out his last name was Hunt.. Yep his name is Mike Hunt.

  3. I was actually going to drive over to raleigh a couple weeks ago when we had the bad ice storm and watch a couple people I am in school with shoot but my buddy couldn't find his gear for IDPA since he usually shoots USPSA. Is there ever matches on sundays?

  4. There was just a review in this section on one I believe. I will see if I can find it. might have been a couple years old and just got bumped for some reason.

Never mind it was on the .40

  5. You can fill out a form with ATF and build your own gun after it is approved. It is just like building your own SBR. It now takes forever to get the paper work approved because the 4 people they had in West VA. that processed the requests has been reduced to one person. I don't think they will be adding additional people either.

What happened with the people in WV? Thats where i am from and curious. If you can share a link or a basic run down for me I would appreciate it.

  6. Well I had a tour of the gunsmith program at MCC today and it looks very well organized and like they teach some good stuff. Saw examples of several students works in progress and I am impressed. I am on a waiting list right now and doesn't look like I will be able to start until the fall of 2013!!!! I am probably going to take a metal engraving class in the year I have to wait because it will be just one more thing I could use to personalize a gun.

  7. Very good write up. Reminds me of a local restaurant owner that opened a few businesses that weren't successful and lost everything. He got a job at Kmart and lived in his car for a couple years so he could still pay his child support. In the last year he opened a new restaurant and is in the process of opening two more. He has made himself a millionaire and never gave up.

Looking back on the past year I can't say it has all been something I would be proud of looking back. I am 20 and after coming back home from college I took 9 months of from doing anything. Me and my dad were in the process of opening a business which took longer than expected due to the DMV losing some paper work.

I may try and keep a log kinda like you have except at end of each week I want to write down something productive I have done.

  8. HAHA didn't realize it was 8 years old. I was just browsing this section and saw it. I went to school in Ohio for awhile and told one of my classes my parents were first cousins bc my teacher made a joke and a kid from Indiana believed the whole thing.
