Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. chetc, your absolutely right! The SnS 135's ogive requires a short overall length. I had to load to 1.100 for it to drop and spin in a stock Glock barrel. Loaded another brands 135 @ 1.135 oal. It's a great bullet accuracy wise. You just have to back off your charge at this short oal. 3.3 TiteGroup @ 1.100 with a .378 bell closure, 130 pf = Sweet
  2. SNSCaster2, Thank you sir. I'll give them a try. Another question though. Any difference in accuracy @25 yards and is there a noticable reduction in recoil between 200's -230's?
  3. SNSCaster2 What's your powder charge and oal ? I'm running SNS 200 swc with 4.4 n310 @ 1.235 and make 170pf out of a Premier 2. I would like to try the 230's. Lube ring or straight wall?
  4. Picked up 2k of the Zero 125gr. fmj flat points and have not had good accuracy with them. Tried 3.8-3.9 of titegroup @ 1.110-1,120 oal. They shoot 2.5" high out of glock 17,26 and sti sentry. My go to load is Zero 147 jhp, 3.2 of titegroup @ 1.135 oal. Any good recipies out there or suggestions ?
  5. I've had my P11/ 1.5" For 14 months 10,110 rds. and not a hiccup!They only get better!
  6. Give Crazy John @ 1911 Heaven a call. He has a verygood selection in stock and you cant beat his prices. I added an Ed Brown S.S. Extended mag release and Magwell, dropped trigger pull to exactly 3 lbs. and really starting to enjoy shooting SS Division in USPSA. The accuracy of the Baer Premiere II is outstanding. I had concerns about using such a tightly fit pistol in USPSA But, No worries! Good Luck in which ever pistol you choose. Have Fun
  7. I run a Les Baer P11 in USPSA,PPC,STEEL and Action Pistol Matches.Never shot BULLSEYE But, I know several people who do with the P11. So you could probably cover all your needs with one. Picked mine up for less than 2k with 1.5"@ 50yrd. option. just hit the 4000 rd. mark and it hasn't even hiccupped.
