  1. I guess I should have been a litle more clear will i need more powder to make my gun function? i.e. stop my failure to eject's?
  2. So I am trying to figure out a 9mm major load for a stainless kkm barrel with a 3 port comp. On a glock 17. So far i have used 6.6 grs of autocomp. and 124gr JHP, with a OAL of 1.145. I am having ejection problems with my gun. Am i not using enough powder? Could that be why i have about 1 in 20 fail to eject. it does extract fine, it stovepipes with the case mouth at 45 degrees. It does not apper to be hitting my cmore mount, so far i have tried a 13 pound recoil spring, stronger extractor spring, non lci extractor and a longer zev tech ejector. I dont have a chrono yet. I know i am working on getting one. If anyone has loaded for this kind of set up please help. Thanks
  3. The ejection port is lowered, I also installed a longer zev tech ejector and a non LCI extractor and 20% stiffer extractor spring i was shooting today and had about 4 FTE's out of 100 rds. the empty would be stuck sideways bullet hole facing up and out at about 45 degrees. Im going to the range right now and will try the mags without the extension. and also some remington 124gr hollow pts 6.6 auto comp 1.14-1.15 OAL. will see what happens. How often should i expect a FTE. I wonder what is considered normal....
  4. I seen your name pop up on the oppc fourm. Did you shoot there lastnight? I was the dude with the funky looking glock. Just found out that i finished 1st lastnight too. For the first time shooting a red dot i am happy with that.
  5. Thanks for the input just went and picked up 300 remington 124gr JHP to get get me through the weekend. I am going to assume i can load the like any other 124gr JHP bullet 6.6gr of auto comp. any thoughts.
  6. I had some pretty good luck lastnight with 6.6gr of auto comp and 124gr berrys at 1.16OAL.very accurate I'd like to try loading some 115gr berrys with autocomp because i have a ton of them to shoot, could anyone point me in the right direction to some load data for this. Again i dont need to make major just yet but the gun will handle it i am more concerned with function. So far all the advice on this fourm has been great! and i thank you all for your time. GLOCK 17 KKM 3 port comp
  7. Just went and picked up a pound of auto comp gonna start at 6.4gr and 1.16 oal with 124 gr berrys work up and see what happens.... Thanks to everyone for the advice.
  8. Going to get a pound of auto comp right now any suggestions for 115gr berrys, and 124 gr berrys. I dont need to make major i just need to make the gun run.
  9. Ok so i will get rid of the springco i have heard they were junk. And yes i can take take everything off the pistol thread on comp magwell you name it i can take it off or put it on.
  10. Thanks Glockomma I will try that and let you know how it works... I am just hoping to get it running for the 3 gun this weekend....
  11. I asked but the only answer i got was "some pretty hot loads" I think he was afraid of the liabilities...
  12. Thanks for the reply, my Malfs happen about one in 10 to one in 15 rounds. I think that my brass is hitting my cmore mount and jamming the gun.I am loading bullseye because i have a ton of it because i normally load it for my 45 and have had great luck with it.It is a very fast powder and i thought that would be good to make my gun cycle but that is not the case. Most of my malfs are failing to extract. I tend to get a few stovepipes but mostly they just dont spit out the side and i end up doublefeeding. I just replaced the extractor With a non loaded chamber indicator extractor, and a 20% stronger extractor spring. I have a new ejector on the way from glockwerx and i hope that might help. Do you think i should switch powders to somthing like 231?
  13. HELP, I have a glock 17 open pistol. I purchased this thinking i could figure it out on my own but I need some advice on how to make it run correctly. First about me, I reload so i can make any round that will be suggested to me. The Pistol glock 17, cmore, KKM stainless 3 port comped barrel, lightened slide, sjc magwell, NON LCI extractor and 20% stronger extractor spring, springco recoil reducer. I have a few different recoil springs including the stock one. I have tried them all not 100% sure on their weights, I have tried many different loads with 115 gr berrys 124 gr berrys ranging from 5 gr to 5.5 gr of bullseye. I did shoot a box of +p ammo and it cycled fine. after that not so much. I just cant get it to eject the brass correctly it gets stuck in the slide somtimes stovepiping somtimes just not ejecting. I have a new ejector comming in the mail i hope that does it but i dont really know what else to do please help with any advice you can offer. I am open to anything. Thanks for any help....
