Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I carry a Taurus PT 709 Slim. It has been 100% reliable through 600+ rounds of several different brands of ammo. I put a Pachmayr grip on it and Pearce mag extension(for the little finger).
  2. Thanks for the answers. I solved the problem...traded the compact for the full size PX4 9mm! Immediately went into the range and shot 200 hundred rounds, it should be a real sweet shooter. I haven't shot a lot of other guns but I'm just hooked on the Berettas. Can't wait to participate in a match. Note that I said participate...I seriously doubt I will be any competition to anyone!!! :-)
  3. I'm new to all of this and have a question about the approved gun list for production class. I did a lot of reading here and haven't seen the answer so apologize if it has already been covered. This is a clip from the production list... "PX4 Storm Type C 9mm & 40S&W (27.7 oz.), PX4 Storm Type D 9mm & 40S&W (27.7 oz.), PX4 Storm Type F (27.5 oz.), PX4 Storm Type G (27.5 oz.)" The 27.7 oz. refers to the full size PX4's but the 27.5 oz. doesn't fit any of the PX4's that I can see on the Beretta website, unless I'm totally missing something. The compact is listed at 27.3 oz. Can anyone tell me for sure if the PX4 in "compact" is legal or not to use in USPSA? Even though a local club shoots both IDPA and USPSA I may only be able to attend IDPA events. I bought the PX4 Compact 9mm because I loved the gun. I had no idea I would get bit by this huge bug called shooting! I would just buy a full size 9mm but that isn't going to happen for a while. Anyway thanks for any advice you might have.

  5. Excellent guide. Thank you. Now I just have to wait until my first match!
